The Daily Beast Poll of Worst Presidents of All-Time
The lefties over at The Daily Beast must have had major wood when the votes were tallied and George W. Bush was voted worst president ever.
But flagging was soon to follow. Barack Obama was voted second worst president ever. Worse than CARTER!
So many racists in this world.

What does it say about our election process that the bottom 5 worse President’s are all from the last 30 years?

It could be something as simple as readers of any Tina Brown publication are among the dumbest readers in history.

Imagine what the poll would look like if the press had covered Bush and Obama objectively rather than demonizing the former and beatifying the latter.

Gotta love a poll that puts the VERY FIRST POTUS below Reagan and Lincoln. The guy who started it all, who made this nation and who took a rag tag bunch of farmers/blacksmiths/masons to battle and kicked the English in the nuts. Yeah he’s 3rd. WOW.
Oh and GWB worse than Obama? Yeah that’s really accurate. We wonder why our nation is in decline. Its idiots like these folks who answered a poll in this manner.

Even though I have doubts about the accuracy of the poll, or the intelligence of the voters, there is something to learn here — for the Republican Party.
Note that out of the last few Republican Presidents, only Ronald Reagan did well in the poll.
Nixon, Ford, Bush One and Bush Two fair poorly. All of those were more compromising with the Democrats and wanted to “reach across the aisle”.
Reagan was the only one that stood his ground (Conservative) and hardly did any compromising.
Compromise gets us nowhere. It only kicks the can down the road and eventually a great leader comes along to fix it.

Most of this is just public relations and koolaidian college teachers telling their students how to vote.
Harding was good. Not great, but good. His election meant we got away from Wilson’s war socialism, he cut taxes, and the economy took off. As for Teapot Dome — there has NEVER been one shread of evidence that Harding knew anything about it. The Senate investigation was focused on SecInt Fall and found him guilty of bribery. When Harding died and Coolidge took over, his managerial style made sure the Harding tax cuts stayed beneficial.
You just never hear any of that in history class.

Almost every one of the “worst” presidents presided while I was alive. My how our leadership has deteriorated. Of course I would also put Clinton and Kennedy in that group as well…

LBJ is ranked way to high. He started all the mess we’re in now!

Ya’ know… with all the tax cuts he enacted, being pro-life, and an NRA Life Member, I really expected to see John Kennedy ranked MUCH lower…

How did Clinton tie with George Washington? While the internal demographics might be interesting on this (anything coming out of Newsweek now has to be treated with a pound of salt) these results may well be the result of new “interpretations” of the presidents by the liberal teachers in the universities, colleges, high schools and grade schools. This gradual rewriting of history has been taking place over years now and the effects can be seen just about everywhere.
