Why So Many People Think Obama Is a Muslim

A new Gallup poll shows that 11% of Americans think Obama is a Muslim, and the leftist media just can’t figure out why anyone would get that idea. Slate concluded that it must be because of “his exotic name and background, the color of his skin, or (most likely) some combination of the two.” But in reality, the reason why people think Obama is a Muslim is because of how he acts.
Why do people believe that Barack Obama is a Muslim? Here’s why: after the Muslim Brotherhood won the Egyptian presidency, the military moved to curb the president’s powers in order to stave off sharia rule in Egypt. But then Obama warned the military that they better hand over power quickly, or Egypt would lose billions in U.S. aid.
It wasn’t enough that Obama invited the Muslim Brotherhood to his submission speech in Cairo in June 2009, despite the fact that the group was banned at that time for obvious reasons: they wanted to install a sharia government, and the draconian, barbaric code of sharia, in Egypt. It wasn’t enough that after he invited the Brotherhood to his speech; he had officials in his administration meeting with this Islamic supremacist group. It wasn’t enough that he abandoned the true freedom movement, when the women of Iran and Persians and Zoroastrians rose up after 30 years of oppressive sharia rule. Obama spit on them and left them to die. They met bullets with bare flesh and broken bricks.
It was a squandered historical moment: by supporting the demonstrators in Iran, Obama could have done much to remove the head of the snake of Hezb’allah, Hamas, the Shi’ites fighting American soldiers in Iraq, the Taliban in Afghanistan and Pakistan, and the Shia agitation in Bahrain. Obama could have saved the free world and gone down in history as one of the magnificent heroes for good. But that is not who he is. He is a tool, a malevolent subversive who managed to seize the most powerful office in the world with the PR expertise of the enemedia.
Obama’s war on the good continued. It wasn’t enough that he abandoned our Mubarak, our 30-year ally in Egypt, the first Muslim country to make peace with the Jewish people despite the Jew-hatred mandated in the Quran. It wasn’t enough that he threw our great friend and ally out with both hands, a man who for all his undeniable faults was the most liberal of reformers in the Muslim countries in that region. And here we are with the Brotherhood victorious, and what does the leader of the free world do? He threatens to withhold all U.S. aid to anyone who stops the Muslim Brotherhood from taking power.
Does he threaten to withhold aid from the Muslims in Gaza who daily talk about their desire to destroy Israel and annihilate the Jews, and who glory in the murders of young families with their children, and lob rockets into civilian areas so that the people there have to live in terror going to work and to school? Of course not — he increases the aid to the annihilationists who thirst for genocide in their mad Islamic Jew-hatred.

I don’t think he is Muzzslime. I think he is using the muzzies as a tool of a larger plan – to add to the destabilization of our society, along with the OWS anarchists and NPP. Sure he knocks off OBL and a couple of other high ranking al-chiggers. That’s just collateral damage and a show that he’s the C-I-C. It’s no different than talking out of both sides of his mouth. Ask Israel about that.
I’m beginning to go all Ann Barnhardt and Ulsterman here, but it was Nikita Kruschev that said “We will destroy you not with missiles but from within!” Oblowme is the figurehead implementing that plan, the muzzies are just a tool. They can be dispensed with quite easily by someone who has the will and is not worried about public opinion.

Totally agree, Bob M. As I commented over at AT, conservatives tend to be tolerant, respectful and polite and some of them might not share with an unknown pollster what is in that dark corner of all our hearts about this man. We need to man up (or woman up) like Pam Geller and say it and say it and say it. I’m sure that way more than 11% hold that belief.

Teethed on Black Power of the 60′s. This is the conversation that isn’t taking place. What we are seeing among this admin and those behind the scenes (Ayers, Wright, etc) as well as more vocal proponents (Farrakhan, Jones, etc) is a resurrection of the radical offshoot of the 60′s black power movement. How many of those radical leaders adopted Islam at the time?
Is obama a muslim? No, not in practice. But if he believes in black liberation religion he is an Islamist. As someone upthread reminds us, he and his kind knew the MB was taking over Egypt and they will do the same throughout the ME — at Israel’s peril. And what is at the heart of this movement? @Abigail – I agree that Oblowme is deeply entrenched in the black liberation / critical race mentality, which drives his desire to fundamentally transform America.
But I believe that it goes deeper than that. I don’t know how the 60′s radical blacks got connected with islam, other than being a 180 degree repudiation of the Judeo-Christian foundation of the United States – not to mention that it is a fascist power structure.
The 60′s black radicals also embraced communism – again, maybe as an act of defiance and opposition to the country that enslaved their ancestors, I don’t know.
My theory is that the communists saw the blacks and the black civil rights movement as a vehicle to gain a strong ally in their pursuit of destroying the free market, capitalistic, representative republic experiment that was the United States of America.
I’m way into speculation here, and I know it, but I think that the communists are ultimately behind the chaos that we are experiencing, and that they are using the radical blacks – with Obumphuk as the figurehead – to accomplish their objective. What happens after that, I can’t imagine.
Fur, please don’t ban me for expressing my vast right wing conspiracy theory. I swear, six months ago I wouldn’t have been caught dead saying this stuff. This just isn’t my father’s world anymore.

Stirrin the BS — Like you, I’m not in to conspiracy theories, but you and I are probably more curious and discerning than the obamas and if they sat in wright’s church for 20+ years (their formative years) and he was schooled at the knee of stanley dunham and frank davis, lauded farrakan as man of the year on tucc’s magazine — you get the idea. To me, it’s sort of like the National Socialists and the Communists in WWII — they were both fighting against the tyranny of the other all over Europe.
But first they were fighting the larger threat,the freedoms of the democratic/republic west and their capitalist-based economic systems. So long as there is a free market-based economy and free actors in the market, you cannot have a fully centralized gov’t or dictator and you cannot control the free will of the people. In WWII the biggest mistake Hitler and Stalin made were to fight each other and not join together to fight the Allies first. That’s what I think the Communists learned from WWII. Black radicals and their sympathizers from the 60s aren’t necessarily Communist nor Islamists in core ideology, but I think they either join with them or invite their support because the largest threats are the steadfast hearts and minds of Americans. The “minds” part is nearly toppled thanks to U.S. gov’t education and the hearts part will be next to go if the U.S. suffers a much longer and deeper depression.
I don’t think it’s any coincidence that liberation theology made its debut in 1931 — it fits very neatly in to the whole cultural Marxism tract. We see it making a resurgence now in the form of so-called progressive churches; again using the tenets of Christianity in a twisted way to advance “social justice”, just as Hitler used the Christian church. As a Christian, this is deeply troubling to me. I have/had a good friend who attends one of those new mega churches where social justice is preached and she doesn’t get how she’s being manipulated.

Stirrin — what I meant to add in all that was I think it comes down to the original intent of black liberation theology — a conviction that skin color is the cause of so-called oppression. That’s why every radical black person in gov’t leads with a charge of racism. That’s all they know and they believe it with every fiber of their puny being.

I’m 55 been a Christian since I was 14, my choice not from a Christian home. anyway I read the Bible every day and feel I know what should be in the heart of a believer in Jesus Christ. I don’t see ANYTHING that tells me BHO is a Christian. Is he a Muslim? not sure but I’m sure he is sympathetic to Islam. And wants to keep the Muslims on his side He is bad for America,and hates the America I love. by the way, I believe God is in control of the affairs of men and that He let BHO become what he is for a reason. though I don’t know what it is.
