I finally remembered who your voice reminds me of: Danny Messer/Carmine Giovinazzo from CSI-NY.

This is painful to listen to. BFH is great, but the chick needs some work.

No we don’t all go on the dole. That’s not the way.
That’s what the lefty elite want.

MN… The left wants to slowly put us all on the dole and shift the economy into a complete socialist state.
They could perhaps do it over time.
If we “Greece” ourselves overnight, if we go Galt, it could save the Republic for which it stands.

At this rate right now, we are only putting our feet out trying to slow this train heading for “Utopia.”

How cool. I just caught the tail end of your interview. What’s the background to the interview invite? And how’d you end up on a Minneapolis radio station?

I liked the comment that you know about hard breaks ;)

I understand the premise. But we are so much bigger than Greece. The riots over there would look like a family picnic compared to what would happen here.

If I were to finish my point about religion in politics this is what I would have said:

If you look at the issue through the prism of abortion, there is no way on earth that abortion is not murder. It is. It’s a fact.
Perhaps the left is able to delude themselves that it isn’t because they are Godless.
I’m able to understand this without God, so perhaps it’s not only being Godless, but it’s being insufferable stupid as well.
Or it’s sinister. If they could cut religion out of every issue they can convince fairly lax moralistic people that they’ve provided them “an escape hatch” on the issue.

BigFukinDealHat – I listened (thanks to Cardigan for the tip on FB) and thought you were great!! I, too, am not religious but consider myself a Conservative. Anyone that says differently of me is full of shit. I respect the Judeo/Christian religions and the affect they had/have on the creation and expansion of our country. I just do not see how my not being religious has any effect on my views about abortion (murder) or same-sex marriage (an ignorant travesty).

ANYWAY – Liked hearing you and that Sunny lady! Tell her The Doktor said “Hey!” when you talk to her next. She’ll know. ;-)

No, it makes me the warm-up act for Robert Spencer, which is like The Monkees warming up for Jimi Hendrix.

I think I must play the part of a religious outsider for a reason. I think being a soldier for Christianity while not being a practicing Christian is much more effective.
BUT it is a 2-way street. I don’t think you need to be a Christian to be a GREAT conservative.

U2 warmed up for the J. Geils Band
Peter Frampton warmed up for Jethro Tull
Pattie LaBell and Stevie Wonder warmed up for the Rolling Stones.

The religious aspect, to gays is. “IN YOUR FACE ZEALOTS.” If not, than domestic partnerships, would be acceptable. Gay marriage has nothing to do with equality. It has everything to do with forced acceptance. Under the law, domestic partnerships, have the same legal benefits as marriage. So why the need to call it marriage?

@ cfm990 – yet another false argument from the left. Similar to claiming ” poor” people are saved by Castrocare. Medicaid already covers poor people and it’s bankrupting state treasuries. Facts don’t matter to idealogues.
