There is no longer a rule of law, from now on don’t screw with me, if you see me violating some miniscule infraction like driving drunk or running stop signs just move along and don’t worry about what I might be doing. Since Eric Holder won’t be prosecuted for being involved in the death of a human being then don’t bother me about my indiscretions. Our household, particularly my DH, has been following all the particulars of F&F since the story first broke. I watched the entire 3.5 hours (counting the two votes) on the floor yesterday. We then watched it together, again, last night. The miracle of the age is DVR which allows one to fast forward through the minority’s obscene lies and ANYTHING pelosi utters.

The thing that keeps coming back to me are the visits to Mexico by napolitano, holder, feinstein, et al in the spring of ’09. It was during this time that we began hearing the same statements being said over and over again — that “90% of the trafficked guns recovered in Mexico were coming from the U.S.” I’m going to link the Factcheck.org piece from that time period. Of particular interest to me is the same statement made by clinton on the CBS “Morning Show.” What are the odds that, in the absence of some kind of planned communication, these several people would suddenly start making this statement?

Abigail you nail it. Fast and Furious was a front to give them an excuse for new gun laws that is blowing up in their face.

The thing that amazes me is that even in the face of insurmountable evidence of his guilt and the depths the Obama administration is tied to this.

The most disgusting part is after Holder is held in contempt the Executive branch absolutely refuses to arrest him. I realize it is embarrassing for them politically, but I feel the only reason Obama hasn’t thrown Holder under the bus is Holder has a TON of good on Our “Dear Leader.”

Houston — we do have a problem. This, I think, is what obama’s “most intelligent admin, evah” thought they were doing when they invoked Executive Privilege — putting up a firewall between the WH and the DOJ. You know obama isn’t smart enough to think the legal details through for himself and, as it turns out, neither is anyone on his staff. For once all their revisionist interpretation of the law is paying off for the American people and it’s the break Issa/Grassley needed.

Did you (or anyone else) catch Cummings making a sidebar comment to the Speaker yesterday when he mumbled something at the end of the session about something just went down that he thought impinged on the legality of the proceedings? This was in response to Issa’s entering the details of the wiretaps into the record. Wooo Hoo! Too bad for you, Mr. Cummings! Too bad for you! Issa wasn’t waiving those documents around for nuthin’! My heart was lightened when I realized Issa had pulled a fast, but legal, one over on the minority. Now I hope the superior legal minds can move this thing forward with all haste.
