Let the Digital Record Show – Not All Present Day Americans Are Fools
All of these “Republicans”, which are just the theatrical foils to the Communists, in place to do nothing more than give the appearance of a two-party, functioning representative republic, will start referencing the fact that ObamaCare is SCOTUS-approved, and approved by Chief Justice Roberts, no less. They will also start to argue that it would cause “chaos” to repeal it. Day by day, this rhetoric will increase. It will begin on the news channels, then spill over into the faux-conservative blogs like HotAir.com . I wait with bated breath for Ed Morrissey or Allahpundit’s piece on how “sensible folk understand that ObamaCare simply cannot be repealed.” Oh, just you wait. It is coming. I promise you that.
Which circles us back to the root problem of personal integrity in this nation. We are a nation of godless cowards and self-worshiping trash, and we will have the government we deserve as such.
Why do I bother saying anything at all? Because I want there to be some sort of digital record showing that not every single person in this godforsaken country was a coward and an imbecile. I don’t want the people who are living on this continent ten or twenty years from now to be able to whine and deflect responsibility for their sorry, sorry state by claiming that “no one ever told us” or “no one ever explained anything to us.” No, you were told. You were warned. And it wasn’t just me doing the warning and explaining. You will accept your suffering in SILENCE. You will blame nothing and no one except YOURSELVES. You will own the tyranny that you live under, because you begged for it. You bought it with your own stupidity, and you nurtured it with your own squealing cowardice.

I have been making the same comments now for the past 2 years to the point that I sounded like a broken record.
It will not be until everything completely collapses that we will see change. Jewish history is replete with examples of the people worshiping God, backsliding, abandoning and rejecting God, judgement, pain and suffering, finally repentance and restoration. And only once, Nineveh, have the people repented prior to the judgment as they wallowed in their hedonism.
We have been warned, time and time again, but no one is listening, not enough anyway to alter the course that we are on.
We will be forced to swallow the bitter pill that is of our own making.

God will not be fooled, neither will I. My trust is in God because without his help or if we attempt to put end to the tyranny of this lawless admiistration on our own, we will fail. My trust is not in the Republican Party or even the Tea Party to put an end to this. I am a Christian first, conservative second. I pray to God that we will not forget God, like the Russians did just after World War 1 because if we do we too could face 70 years of Hell just like they did. I am 59 with 3 grown children and don’t want this to be the end of America as I knew it,not only for my sake but theirs as well and for my yet to be born grandchildren. I am and always will remain hopeful but honestly I just don’t know anymore what will happen tomorrow yet even later today. As for me and my house I will serve the Lord and never the dictates of this Godless administration even if it costs me my life to fight it. May God give us the strength and the character to persevere in this day of evil. God always wins no matter what so Obama (and this whole administration) should be on short notice that he is not God, nor will he ever be. The gauntlet has been thrown down and war has been declared on us by this Godless President and his evil minions. I will fight with everything God gives me to put an end to these injustices. And I will pray like never before that God will spare us in his mercy and grace because honestly we do deserve this because we have forgotten how mighty and powerful that God is and how he has divinely intervened (continually)in this nation since the first Pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock nearly 400 years ago. God bless us all, we’re going to need it to get through these troubling times.

Unfortunately, I believe Ann is right.
For years, I’ve been saying that the general populace is only intent on their toys, entertainment and sex toys – spoiled children who aren’t house broken.
Obviously, I don’t believe in stuff like the White Horse prophesy, but, maybe Romney does, and will act accordingly.

I was going to try to respond to Ann’s post with an explanation of God’s pleasure at the our attempt to please Him. Sinner, though I am, I know Abba loves me, His creation. Short of apostasy, I will never be abandoned. This is the hope that is made possible from faith. I believe He is pleased that I try to please Him.
So I bring it down to cases: Barring any debilitating illness or death, Mitt Romney will be the GOP’s nominee. There is no practical choice of candidate in his place. And taking Ann’s admonishment of being duped, being a stooge for politicians’ lies, who would be a superior replacement, anyway? I don’t know if she’s said.
I am neither a coward nor an imbecile and I am certain there are few, if any, here who are. I know this earth, this country, is a weigh station. We do what we can to please God while we’re here. As aardvark wrote, above, my trust is in God, but God works through people and there are some people, some organizations that, while not ideal, are closer to the mark than others. Short of a latter-day Moses, we’re going to have to figure this out as best we can and trust God in all His mystery and righteousness.
In other words: Hold on to your hats ladies and gentlemen, we could end up miles from here.

The founders of this nation were truly educated men.
(not with worthless papered ‘degrees’ in sociology or transgender video game design)
Their knowledge of human history and philosophy led them to understand that all human governments,no matter how well intended or founded, tend to devolve toward tyranny.
THAT is why they included the right to bear arms as the amendment second only to the right to free speech.
It was intended as a final firewall of liberty for the citizens and to be understood by the federal government as a check by the people against runaway central authoritarianism.
We are entering a scenario that the founders feared and foresaw.

I’m just not as pessimistic as Ann.
In 2010, the first chance the fighters among us had to tell our pols what we thought of Obama and ObamaCare, we delivered the worst beating to REgressives in over 70 years. Granted, Boehner and McConnell shit on this mandate(for the most part)
We elected many Constitutional conservatives to Congress and in 2012, we need to elect more of them. Have you listened to them? They’re firebrands for our side. They know what’s at stake. They’re not RINOs.
We must elect Romney. If he’s a washout, then in 2016, we’ll run some else. But right now we have to stop the bleeding.
REgressives never stop when they encounter set backs, why are so many on our side throwing up their hands in surrender. WHAT CHOICE DO WE HAVE? Give up to these godless bastards?

@Bitterclinger — Actually, I was referring to those who said they want to be president. We can’t vote for Sarah if she’s not running and doesn’t have the nomination. It would be imprudent to write-in Sarah Palin in November. As very wonderful as she is, we’ve got to work with what they gave us. At least for the time being. I know it’s a bummer, but Rome wasn’t built in a day and as someone else upthread points out, we’re darn blessed to have made the progress we have even in the ’10 election cycle after a 100 years of electorate neglect.
