With the Supreme Court ruling on President Obama’s health care law, everyone is wondering what’s next for big government. Here are some ideas for federal policymakers to consider:

Federal Broccoli Act of 2013: Eat your broccoli, else pay the IRS $1,000.

Federal Recycling Act of 2014: Fill your blue box and put on the curb, else pay the IRS $2,000.

Federal Green Car Act of 2015: Make your next car battery powered, else pay the IRS $3,000.

Federal Domestic Jobs Act of 2016: Don’t exceed 25 percent foreign content on family consumer purchases, else pay the IRS $4,000.

Federal Obesity Act of 2017: Achieve listed BMI on your mandated annual physical, else pay the IRS $5,000.

Federal National Service Act of 2018: Serve two years in the military or the local soup kitchen, else pay the IRS $6,000.

Federal Housing Efficiency Act of 2019: Don’t exceed 1,000 square feet of living space per person in your household, else pay the IRS $7,000.

Federal Population Growth Act of 2020: Don’t exceed two children per couple, else pay the IRS $8,000.

Are you mad about today’s ruling on the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare to those who watch Faux “News”) because it’s tantamount to the government trying to influence your behavior through the tax code?

Let’s remember that under the current tax code you get your medical benefits tax free if you get them through your BIG CORPORATE EMPLOYER but you only get what you pay in excess of 7% of your adjusted gross income if you buy them on the open market. If that’s not the government trying to influence your behavior through the tax code than I don’t know what is.

Uncle Sam wants YOU… to go get a job somewhere and NOT hang your shingle and offer your services independently. WHY? Because the corporate lobbyists paid a LOT of money to make it so.

BTW, on the Broccoli act, BMI act AND the Don’t exceed two children act… big corporate employers are already implementing measures to charge more to people who are less healthy and they’ve been charging more to people with kids since the beginning.

I know you hate Obama but perhaps there are bigger fish to fry in the world. “Just say’in”

I was about six years out from retiring my original 30 year loan (prepaying the shit outta it mostly) but me and Mrs. I-Cake decided in 2006-2007 that the good times were gonna keep rollin’ because this is AMERICA, so I hopped back in with both flippers and spent about a bajillion bucks on our dream addition. Well, not exactly, but enough to leave a mark on a regular guy.

Finished her up in 2008, just in time for O’Bongo and his reign of terror. Construction…ain’t been pretty.

Now it’s become a very lovely prison as we can’t afford to go anywhere else.

How many people are hurting and unemployed and can’t afford the gas to get to the job interview because of thinking like yours? I bet there is not a single person reading this that can point to a policy that Obama has sponsored or supported as senator/president that has hurt them in a tangible way. I’m not talking “He’s a low life because he’s a Kenyan born Muslim” stuff either… I’m talking “I lost my job because of Obama policy XYZ”, “I Pay more taxes now than I did under George W because of Obama supported tax law XYZ”… I challenge each of you to point out a single way that you’ve been PERSONALLY harmed by Obama policy. Look on the bright side…

They’ve convinced the black population to abort their offspring. Something like 70% of black babies are aborted. Meaning there will be less blacks in the future (by progressive design; keep up the good work schmucks). Ergo, less voter base, less power. Simple math.

They’ve convinced the young that there is no future and the United States is the root of all evil, so the kiddies par-taaaaa and don’t have families. The young have become too apathetic to bother to vote or breed. Again, by design.

Sheep are so much easier to control. You just need one fairly-trained dog to control the whole herd.

But, once again, less voter base = less power.

The only route for the progtards is to try to get the Latino vote by admitting any and all illegals into the country to replenish their voter base. (Wonder why Chief Quisling Roberts vote was so important in the Arizona ruling?) The legal Latins, thankfully, ain’t buying what they’re selling.

The only way they will win the next election is by massive voter fraud. Count on it.

Sure, progtards like Michael Moore, Cher, Dickface Maher, Jeanine Barafalo, George Clooless, Sean Penn, Matt Demon, Tom Hanks, Alley Baldwin, Spielcrap, Madcow, etc. will live their lives in blissful isolation. But thankfully, they do not breed in the capacity needed to replenish their population. They just burp out non-entities like Chas Bono or vapid Paris Hilton. Simple Devolution.

The vast majority of progressive demonrats obediently follow suit, as individualist thought is anathema to proper groupthink, as a crucifix and a wooden stake are to a vampire. So basically, the progressives have sown their own demise.

We, sadly are witnesses of the downfall of the United States republic. We bit into the ‘you can have it all now, without consequences’ bullcrap. Our parents knew better, but caved to a desire for an easier life for us. So they and we slept and indulged, like the spoiled children we are.

The Book says you reap what you sow. Paybacks are a MoFo. Suck it up and either get off your ass and do something about it or sit & whine in your own feces. Better yet, if you ain’t going to do any heavy lifting, just STFU! I don’t want to hear any more phucking wussouts! Take your worthless ass and go sit in a corner and suck off whoever throws you an occasional bone, you jaggoff Weasel Dick pussy.

If you prefer the former, welcome aboard and buckle your chin strap. It’s going to be a rough ride. You think it was easy for the Colonial Army at Valley Forge? Prepare yourselves. Assess your situation and prepare to do what you can. Any and all assistance is welcome.

If you prefer the latter then prepare to die every day for the rest of your life. Every day is one disappointment after disappointment, after yesterday’s disappointment, followed by the dreary realization of tomorrow’s disappointment. It is the life of the coward, the appeaser, the Community Organizer. They are a dieing breed. Again, do the math. Tomorrow’s brutish society (happily ushered in by the Obama Regime and progressives) will have no need of you or them.

Soon after, the only people that will be replenishing their population base will be conservatives (latino, white, asian, slowly awakening blacks, other people awakening to the dream that was the United States) and muzzies.

…then, the new revolution will begin.

Start breeding kiddies! It’s a ‘Brave New World’.

I pledge to do everything I can to defeat the progressives.

Do I hear an ‘Amen’ from the Bobbleheads?

NOT, We are after profit and we will not sacrifice our business because we have a clown if office. Seen the manipulated unemployment figures lately. There’s an old adage in business that goes If your not growing you are dying.

Banks are not lending. Talk to them all the time. Although a few have told me they have not changed their criteria for lending, it’s just everyone’s financials suck. Hmm.

keynesian economics, Not Kenyan Economics. I just cracked myself up. Anyway, it’s never ever ever worked, but we keep finding these idiots that need to prove it one more time.

See my first post. Obama is biz unfriendly. He passed the Bush tax cuts and then does nothing but bitch about them. WTF. does he really have a plan? No.

“I’d even bet that each of you is better off under Obama than you would be had McCain been elected.”

Here’s a news flash for ya. I’d ay 99% of the people here thought McCain absolutely sucked. Most of us thought Bush wasn’t all that hot.

Bush grew the Gov way to big. McCain probably would have continues on unless Sara Palin had any influence.

How does the logic train some of you are riding conclude that the biggest “for profit firms” and the extremely wealthy individuals that are pouring money into the election process at a record breaking pace since Citizens Untied are doing so because they want LESS of what will be spent in the US next year for themselves than what they had this year? Doesn’t that violate the most basic principal of the publicly held corporate model; “more profit this quarter than last quarter or any quarter before or the stock price will drop!” Doesn’t it follow that if we elect whomever they support they will get more of what is spent and less will be left over for the rest of us? Doesn’t it follow that if they support, say… Mitt and you don’t fit the criteria of extremely wealthy or biggest “for profit firm”, Mitt probably doesn’t have your best interests in mind? This isn’t complicated logic. I don’t need to write a book length post to express it. I don’t need to point to anyone else’s blog of fabricated pseudo-facts on the subject. It’s simple and Occam’s razor supports me that the simple conclusion with the least number of assumptions is probably the correct one.

It would not surprise me to find out that this web site is funded by an extremely wealthy donor and the content is dictated by same. You can’t believe everything you read… anywhere. Know the source.

So far you’ve assumed that I’m unemployed, young, dumb ect… to explain why I think differently than you do. I’m amused. Yet, none of you can offer a shred of evidence to suggest that Obama’s policies have done anything to harm your position in life. You’re brainwashed by the best money can buy. It’s a shame you haven’t left the echo chamber in so long or you might realize that.

I will address the one comment of substance above about the free market and bring this discussion back around to it’s start. There is NOTHING free market about giving a tax incentive to those who work for a large corporation on their health care costs if the same incentive is not available to those who work independently. Doctors, Lawyers, contractors of every stripe, lawn services, pool services ect… do not receive the same tax free healthcare that those who work for big corporations do. If you don’t believe me… look it up.

The only way to have a truly free market in this country is to apply a flat transaction tax to any transaction where the US dollar changes hands in exchange for goods or services both foreign or domestic and regardless of the seller, buyer or purpose. NO EXEMPTIONS, CREDITS, or DEDUCTIONS! For resale.. too bad, religious… don’t care, sent from one foreign bank to another for purchase of foreign lands… SO WHAT?!? If a US dollar changes hands in exchange for goods or services it should be taxed at a very small percentage. The tax rate will be extremely low as a percentage if the govt is able to collect it and the WILL of the entity deciding to spend or not spend the money is the only controlling factor in how much tax the entity ultimatly pays. Everyone gets to decide how much tax they want to pay… Hey, now that’s AMERICAN! Again, its simple. It doesn’t need much explanation or justification. However, Do you think Exxon will go for it?

Let’s face it, under current tax code Exxon actually MADE money from OUR taxes on 2009. They got more from the Fed in Credits than they paid out in taxes. They actually made a profit from filing their taxes! I’ve never been able to do that. I’m betting Exxon likes the tax code just as crazy and complicated as it is and they support Republicans. Again folks… the candidates who take money from tax dogging Exxon are not in your best interest. How much less do you think you’d have paid in federal taxes in 2009 if Exxon hadn’t gotten a payout or had maybe PAID the same percentage you did?

I took a lower paying job in 2005 because the employer was offering to pay for our health insurance. Since ObamaCareTAX came into effect, my employer could no longer afford to benefit his employees with this perk, so in essence we all got a “pay cut” because we lost that benefit and now have to pay for it ourselves.

@Menderman, I’m sorry to hear about your trouble. I read the president of NASE’s comments on the subject and all I can say is that hopefully they will find a solution before you’re uninsured.

I had a similar situation a few years back when in mid december it looked like I might have Cancer. It so happened that due to a buy out of our small company our insurance was changing to new carriers on Jan 1st. Suddenly on new years day I found myself without a dime in life insurance for my survivors if I’d died and I couldn’t get any because of the pending diagnosis. Between Dec 25th and 31st I had many thoughts of driving a little too fast around a bend so that at least my family would be taken care of by the policy that had been in force for the prior 10 years. SInce then I’ve been cleared of cancer and I purchased life insurance outside of work so I’d never find myself int that situation again. However, on health insurance I’ve found that without group coverage I’m uninsurable. The “free market” won’t touch me because the problem, while not cancer is chronic and though it’s not expected to kill me it does cost a considerable amount of money each year to keep tabs on. So, after 35 years without a gap of steady insurance though one of the major carriers (even while I was contracting) I’m now in a situation where if I don’t please my big corporate employer I could not only lose my job but lose everything I’ve saved over the years to health expenses as I will not be able to purchase insurance.

I don’t think Obamacare is perfect. It’s far from it! However, the system we have now is absolutely broken and some of the items in the law will help put things right and stop the abuses the insurance companies have gotten away with for so long.
