Bloggers aside, SWATing is not new. Nearly thirty years ago, I had just moved into a duplex in the goat ranch area south of Grants Pass, Oregon. It was the heart of the drug traffic/meth lab area in southern Oregon at the time. I moved there for another reason. Anyway, I had a pile of boxes and stuff in the car port as I just moved there, and one day I noticed a strange looking guy walking up the road (he was white, so I was obviously profiling him)and he stopped in front of my driveway and started looking at the stuff I had piled up there. That didn’t bode well for me so I stepped out the door and told the guy to move on, at which point I got a dirty look from him as he left.

Twenty minutes later I hear a knock at the door, look out the window and see nobody. I opened the front door to find two Sheriffs deputies, one either side of the door with handguns drawn. I immediately asked what the hell they were doing, and they said I pointed a shotgun at some guy walking by. They then asked me if I had a shotgun, and I said “maybe I do, and maybe I don’t”. They didn’t like that but when I told them what happened they backed off of me. I told them to tell the bastard that if I ever see that SOB again, he wouldn’t have a chance to call the cops and lie. They didn’t complain about that.

Guess this is all well and good but there’s still nothing going on here a good ole’ American ass smacking wouldn’t resolve!

They expect us to sit back and take this shit when what we should be doing is dragging them out of their comfortable homes and kicking their teeth across the street…THAT’s how you settle a serious threat, confront it head on!!!

Put my kids in danger you’ve just tossed all the rules of engagement out the window….and in that scenario, I WIN!!!

@Sarthunk: LOL…there’s a whole lot of ‘burial ground’ up that way…I have a sister lives near Gresham and the 1st time I visited there that was my first thought was…a mo-fo could get ‘lost’ in them thar’ hills…..for real!

Let me clear something up real quick, I’m not an angry or violent guy…used to be but not any more! I spent 16 years army airborne, got out, 4 months later got into a barfight over some dickwad smacking his woman around, I felt it then, my duty to SHOW this dicksniffer what helpless felt like, and that’s what I did…I spent almost 3 years in an Ohio prison for doing it, but I made that bed and learned to sleep in it! when I got out again, I grew up, flew right, lived only to take care of MY business and be left alone! That last doesn’t always work out so well, and it has been my experience that smashing some dickhead in his teeth takes a lot less energy than argueing with him…I still live MY life but after 50 years, I simply don’t eat shit, but I will take a few nibbles once in a while, piss with me all day long and I’ll probably laugh at you (6′, 210lbs, heavily tattooed, 3 harley’s…I’m not a little guy…AND I’m a conservative but NOT a republican)…piss with my family (I’m a single dad of two GREAT kids, the wife passed some time ago) and its all the way on till its decided…so, please, don’t misunderstand some of my comments, its what I have found through many years of experience, to work for me….one can get a lot more with a kind word and a gun that one can ever hope to get with a kind word!
Leave me be to raise my family and live the life I choose and everything will be fine, but I’m not beyond paying someone a visit who needs to be ‘visited’….but I’ve learned to shut my mouth about those potential ‘visits’ and move on down the road…shit happens!!! In my world, no truer words have been spoken…shit truly DOES happen…!
