Radio host: ‘Pistol whip’ the nuns who are protesting Paul Ryan
This is the first paragraph -
A conservative radio host says that the Catholic nuns who have embarked on a nine-state bus tour to protest the injustice of Rep. Paul Ryan’s (R-WI) proposed budget deserve to be beaten with a handgun because they “threw the first punch.”
Now listen to it for yourself.
I’d like to pistol whip the entire Raw Story Staff.
Now decide for yourselves whether I am joking or not, you morons.

Well it’s perfetcly plain as day that this radio host IS NOT AN ENTERTAINER, COMEDIAN, OR GIANT NOSED, SARCASTIC ATHEIST ASSWIPE, so his comical quip shall be met with a BOYCOTT HIS ADVERTISERS CAMPAIGN!

I think some readers (and Fur) here sort of miss the point. It is hideous that Catholic nuns would embrace leftest policies. This is so clearly heresy. You can’t be a leftest and Catholic and you can’t just be “against abortion” but then embrace theft.

I’m really not outraged by the pistol whip comment. I am outraged that I am Roman Catholic and those that are supposed to represent the Word would so mis-represent it.
To quote (paraphrase) G K Chesterton:
one wrong word from a Catholic does more damage that a thousand from an atheist.

jpm, you’ve obviously never heard of the Catholic Church’s role in Social Justice. I recommend you read up on it.
Progressivism, Socialism, Marxism, et.al., are the founding bedrocks after Vatican II. It’s the reason I left the Church, and the reason why the majority of current lemming-like Catholics vote Democrat.
These nuns are not silenced because they are speaking the quiet will of the Church, and that is to be just like the nation of islam – to make everyone believe your will or destroy them if they don’t. They are not apolitical, as they should be. They are vicious tools of political agenda, marxism, lust for power and selective oppression. They first proved themselves to be anti-Christian during the World Wars when their silence spoke loudly.
We should ignore their hateful, anticapitalist speech because it is against Christ’s first rule of loving one another. We do unto our brother what we would do unto ourselves.

Another reason to admire Pope John Paul II was that he was hellbent on rooting out that Liberation Theology crap from the entire clergy. I wish Pope Benedict would get off his ass and root the LT’s out too.
BTW, I’m Roman Catholic but I scored a 20 out of 400 on the “How Progressive Are You Test” on the website for Center For American Progress. I was aiming for a zero score.
As for my fellow Catholics, I think Obama’s NonAccomodation Accomodation on Obamacare contraception really woke some of these idiots up to just how dangerous progressivism and socialism really are to religious freedom.

Tony R, I agree with you. I am Catholic and U.S. citizen both by birth. My decision to leave the Church was because I cannot fight the Vatican, (mostly the American Bishops) so I relented and left. If I choose to leave the United States, it will take a bit more than moral righteousness. I’ll need to file a few papers and hop a jet.
It must be easier to get yourself right with God than it is to get yourself right with a marxist congress and White House.
I’ve fought this nation’s wickedness for more years than I care to admit…longer than my worthless fight with the Catholic Church. I am a proud member of a Tea Party, the Republican Party (for what that’s worth!) and an activist within my local community. I’m doing what I can to change the country. I wish I could say I would have that same voice within the Church, but it is a lost cause in its current state. Benedict is a conservative. He should voice his opinion better, like JPII.

The nuns need to STFU regarding politics and stick with spiritual education. These are the talking points for Catholics when deciding who to vote for. I agree with them. It’s comes down to the most fundamental of our survival as a nation and the future.
