Thanks Fur. I’ve been expecting you to get this up here. Well, after a depressing evening watching and reading quite a bit about this story, the really good news is the poor woman is going to have a wonderful summer for sure with the funds raised because of her horrendous experience (thousands of people chipping in to give her a vacation of a lifetime). I’m with those who know how mean kids can be, but to do this to an old woman is beyond just being mean–it’s pathetically cruel and sickening. I cried. And cried some more. This old woman is everybody’s grandmother. God Bless her, and I hope those boys and girls will be punished to the tee by their parents, school, and community. One more thing, it’s good to see so many come to her defense in more ways than one–a silver lining in the black cloud. Thanks again.

Minimum 2 week hospital psych evaluation for these little sociopaths before they’re expelled.

Are these children going to be made to take cultural sensitivity classes? If it would have been me,I probably would have hurt a few of them……….very badly.

Would this have happened, let alone be allowed or tolerated a generation ago?
All it takes is one generation to be taught that there are no moral absolutes, no God, no degree of civility to create a culture that we now witness in our youth.
This is the reward of secular humanism that our youth have been indoctrinated with for the last 60 years, in other words, a generation.
Imagine the world when this generation passes the baton to the next.

All I know is that if I was the bus driver, I’d be fired because I would’ve stopped the bus, walked back to those snots, and physically thrown them from the bus.
How come the good kids on the bus didn’t confront the bad kids?

I suppose 4 police cruisers are now guarding the homes of the 4 little bastards along with their parents on the tax-payers dime because of all the death threats. what a waste of time and money!!
@Moe Tom, because students defending the monitor are likely to experience revenge and the same kind of vicious treatment for simply speaking up. Unlike laying hands on faculty or staff, there won’t be as consequential result.

Nothing will be done to those punks.
They’ll be considered “at risk students” and will get nothing more than a stern talking to.
That’s why they do it. They know they won’t pay any consequences at school or at home.
Nice to see people stepping up and giving this woman such nice treatment.

My friend is a inner city school bus driver. He’s a shaved headed, muscular, 6 foot, tattooed old school biker. He showed me a tape from the bus from day one where the kids were acting like animals, yelling playing loud music, cursing, slapping at each other. He asked them to quiet down and take thier seats. Someone responded back with “fuck-you”…
He stopped the bus. Pulled his longsleeve blue work shirt off and and addressed(yelled)at them. “I’m not going to sit up here and listen to your childish asshole shit” – “You will sit the fuck down, and show respect for your fellow passenger” – “If not, you will not ride on my fucking bus” – “Make the choice now punks, either you will do as I wish or I’ll throw your sorry wimp ass off this motherfucking bus right now” … the look on thier faces was priceless, and you could hear a flee fart…
He showed me follow-up videos, the bus sceen was one of quiet talking and you could hear them as they got on the bus,”good morning Mr. Rutkowski” … He was nomonated, by his passengers, for driver of the year.

Beacuse there are no “Good” kids on that bus! There may have been a few not participating directly in the harrasment, but that means they were merely accessories. They are as much chicken-shits as the little brats who tortured the old lady. Either they condoned the attack but were too scared to participate, or they knew it was wrong but were too scared to stand up and help! Either way, there was not a kid on that bus with a shred of integrity, and apparently the driver either!

Having lost my idealism about most things in life (actually, after having had it destroyed) and subscribing to Oscar Wilde’s theory that “No good deed goes unpunished”, I wonder first if all of those donated funds will get to her and second, how the IRS will punish her for our goodwill.

Not too long ago you posted a video of a teacher & students eagerly supporting their physically challenged classmate cross the finish line in a race. I thought there was some hope for the future generation. After viewing the bus incident, I’m not so sure. One father is already saying his child has been punished enough by having the video publicized. First, he’d better acknowledge his failure as a parent. Second, if that were my kid, the punishment would be swift & severe & then I’d follow up with some kind of evaluation. What those kids did to that woman is sick, sick, SICK.
Dad of one of them says “it was a stupid mistake”.
Bullshit. Your kid is one of the soft-headed vicious people who was not stopped at the first sign of indulging in this kind of behavior. I’ll bet your kid does not respect you one bit either.

It would be a hate crime if the colors were reversed.
And the good reverends would be on every network.
Riots would be planned and someone would have to be put in jail or get killed in order for justice to be served.
