Governor Palin Defends Former First Lady Laura Bush

Conservatives 4 Palin

Former First Lady Laura Bush has faced some very unfair criticism coming from left-wing “feminists” recently. Governor Palin defended the former first lady via a statement published over on Gretawire:

“It’s such a shame that some can’t put partisanship aside to recognize the good work done by one woman who used the platform she was given to help women around the world. Laura Bush continues to work tirelessly to help women in the Middle East get access to breast cancer treatment and preventative care. She has helped shine a light on the plight of women in Afghanistan and has encouraged women small business owners. These are things all women should applaud and encourage, not criticize or dismiss. And all of this was accomplished by a woman who did not seek or aspire to the position of First Lady. In fact, I’m told that she always preferred to be referred to simply as Laura Bush and not First Lady. When she found herself in a position to serve, she stepped up to the plate and hit a home run for women, and she still does to this day as she continues her work helping women at home and around the world.

Kudos to Laura Bush, Pro-Choice, Pro-Gay Marriage – a whole lot smarter than Palin and her husband.

Laura Bush is a Lady. There is nothing to defend. There are few Lady’s or Gentlemen on the MainStreemMedia. They are for the most part haters of America, lesbians, queers, socialists, communuists, and run of the mill shitheads

This is impossible for the femi-nazis. If Ann Romney was instrumental in getting start-up loans at half the going rate for small businesses owned by women, NOW and their ilk would scream that she should have fought for one quarter the going rate. If she got the loans at one quarter, they’d scream it should have been one tenth.

Nothing will make the proglodytes happy if it is done by intelligent people.

Sarah Palin is all class. You said it ‘keepin r pithy’, Barbara Bush showed how unclassy and unConservative she is when she said Sarah should just basically shut up and get back in the kitchen in Alaska. No need at all for the elder Bush mother to have treated a wonderful fellow American like that. That said, Laura Bush was always uplifting as a First Lady, totally opposite of the of the downer prune faced American hating bag we have in there now.

When she found herself in a position to serve, she stepped up to the plate and hit a home run for women, and she still does to this day as she continues her work helping women at home and around the world.

And that’s the difference between an elegant lady full of class, and a brutish bitter entitled mooch who found herself in a position to BE SERVED and stepped up to the plate. Then figured out she could have the plate stepped up to her… again and again and again!!! The true indicator will be when her time as Worst Lady is over.. Will she continue her campaign of “public service”, or will she abandon her crusade and drop the pretense that she actually has any concern for anyone but herself? I would hate to have to be around Moochelle Antoinette when it hits her that her free ride is over and just being an angry black woman won’t afford her trips to Spain or to London or to NYC for dinner on a whim.

How very sweet of Sarah. Although I do not think Laura needs anyone to come to her aid. She handles herself quite well indeed and has the Spirit of a True American. That is what gives her an incredible glow. Just look at ANY picture of her. A total antithesis to the Scowler-in-Chief, Moooshell!!

What Sarah did with her statement was to catapult the disgusting attack on Laura Bush which none in the old media would report, right into the spotlight. These continuous attacks need to be called out at every opportunity.

The time of leftists owning the narrative is over and it behooves all of us to ensure that they are made aware of the fact, continually.

Also, I don’t know who ‘tops’ is but perhaps a little real research into the person and persona of Sarah Palin would go a long way to dispelling their unbelievable ignorance with regard to an American Patriot.
