He’s exactly right, too. before the New Media finally came about there was practically no way to get the truth.

The most shocking thing is not that we have a media which won’t report the truth, but that we have a large part of the media buying public which takes what that corrupt media reports as truth without question.

A guy I’ve been friends with for many years gets very bent out of shape when he hears the phrase “liberal media bias” . After listening to his rant against a supposed alliance between Romney/Bain Capital and talk radio wherein ALL callers to ALL conservative talk radio shows are fake (oh and he allegedly knows this for a fact because he worked at a relatvely small radio station for a few years), I was reminded of a story about pre WW II German Jews that (verbally) defended the NAZIs.
The mental gymnastics of some of these folks are astounding.

The new media is a perfect example of the free market. A new product evolved out of (what seemed like)nothing to fill a demand due to the inadequacy of the existing product. Kudos to the enterprising people who saw the need and found a way to do it.

My contention for years has been that the left dominated media does own a bull horn but the only people listening are those that seek to have their beliefs ratified. They’re not looking for the truth, they’re looking for validation.
So many of the blogs I read link to REgressive columns or blogs which I will read. So much of what is written on the left is easily refuted. You gotta wonder if these people have memories. Or eyesight, because there are so many real time examples of their failed policies, why are they continually, when they’re not calling Constitutional conservatives, racists, ignoring their failures? Do they think because conservatives point this out, we’re…evil..oh yeah, they do.
Do you think anyone really is undecided? That they switch on Ed one night, listen to him and say, yaknow I hadn’t thought of that?? Ain’t happening folks. It’s a REgressive circle jerk and the circle is getting smaller and smaller. But louder, as they see their rot becoming more and more evident.
Still, I sure miss Andrew-what a warrior.
