STEVEN SPIELBERG BEHIND OBAMA’S FAILED BAIN CAPITAL ATTACK

Michael Barone is correct, Obama really needs to stop taking advice from wealthy, limousine liberals.
If you were looking for advice on how tell a story that would impact millions upon millions of people, would you go to a director whose last four films were “War Horse,” “The Adventures of Tintin,” Indiana Jones 4,” and “Munich?”
Nope.
But Team Obama did, and what they got in return was a continuation of the ongoing Spielberg flop-streak:
At DreamWorks Studios, Steven Spielberg spent three hours explaining how to capture an audience’s attention and offered a number of ideas that will be rolled out before Election Day. An early example of Spielberg’s influence is RomneyEconomics.com, a website designed by the Obama team to tell the story—a horror story, by their reckoning—of Mitt Romney’s career at Bain Capital. Afterward, Spielberg insisted that Messina sit down with the DreamWorks marketing team. Hollywood movie studios are expert, as presidential campaigns also must be, at spending huge sums over a few weeks to reach and motivate millions of Americans.

You know the scene in Indiana Jones 4 where they “nuke the fridge” with Jones in it? Spielberg said that was his idea. ‘Nuff said.

I think he should keep listening to the far left Kookywood crowd. It’s biting him in the ass everytime.

The only Spielberg film I ever got excited about was Jurassic Park, and the Laura Dern snark put the damper on even that.
From his Jewish Mickey Mouse (Fievel) onward, his stuff has sucked big time. Even Private Ryan was an attempt to view WW2 through a Vietnam-era prism.

I love it that they’re putting their best talent and big celebrity bucks down a rat-hole campaign. It’ll make Mitt’s victory all the more sweet. They’ll be all scratching their asses asking each other WTF happened? Stay in your f’ing bubble, morons, and just shut up and sing, act, dance or direct! (BTW….none of which you’d be able to do ultimately if our country continues on the current path. (Sharia doesn’t play nicely with creative expression.)

The disgust I always feel for Herr Spielberg comes from discovering that he required that letters that came into the Universal mail room addressed to E.T. be stamped “unsolicted mail return to sender”. I was told he didn’t want to pay someone to reply to all these letters from children. He apparently had no interest in reading any of them either. So it’s no wonder he is out of touch with his audience now.

It’s hard to comprehend how the man behind Schindler’s List would support a man who would gladly see Israel destroyed.
The American Jew is lost in the weeds at present.

What a useless moron he is! It goes to show you why California is moraly and financially bankrupt! The only great person who came out of California was Ronald Reagan. Nuff said!

@Boobie — The scene in Private Ryan (“Everything in this movie is true and from actual battles”) that I have a real problem with is the one where the German SS trooper “shushes” the U.S. soldier while he is pushing the bayonet through his chest. What a crock of shite!
Where did Spielberg get that from? There were no U.S. survivors so it couldn’t be from a U.S. after-action report of anyone in that fight. If he got it from the SS, remember, many of those guys spent a few years on the Russian front. If an American soldier (fairly new to battle) puts up a fight and was difficult to kill, he sure as hell couldn’t tell his C.O. that — not without being disgraced. So the SS trooper puts in his after-action report of how the baby American had to be “shushed” to death.
More hollyweird crapola that will be breathlessly retold by the koolaidians as being true.

And yet….
A friend who I had to stop associating with due to his “anger management issues” would insist that “Hollywood is not liberal”, just like the media is not liberal. His defense of this thesis consisted of getting angry and rambling about money and corporations.
FWIW, I enjoyed Tintin, except for them making Capt. Haddock an alcoholic.

Well, isn’t it a time honored tradition for the king to take advice from the court jester? Huh? Oh. . . never-mind.

Will NOT watch another movie by Speilberg! The guy has made enough money, why doesn’t he just go away and stay gone? His movies now suck, and he has lost the talent he once had.
Steve, do yourself a favor and quit while you are still ahead. The last good film you made was Schindler’s List. Raiders of the Lost Ark was good, but the ones after that all sucked. You are now just another 3rd rate hack director.

Folks, these Hollywood snobs see it as their mission to mock you and destroy all that you believe in. Why on earth would you voluntarily fund them?
Each time one of them does something like this they are, in effect, saying that they are “For Liberals Only”.
Tell them, “Fine, have it your way” by NOT spending your money on their propaganda.

The odd thing about Hollyweird liberals, they’re supporting Communists but they don’t realize it. Last night Michael Savage made a comment that most Communists today don’t know that they’re Communists. They’re just so blindly committed to Ǿbama and the left that they don’t care about reality.
But aside from that…
Speilburg = Bag of Douche
Screw this idiot, he’s actively and aggressively working against the principles that this country was founded on. He may as well be working with Soros (now that I think about it he probably is). I suppose it’s better to know this type of thing for sure instead of having strong suspicions.
