Obama Not Scheduled to Commemorate D-Day
It’s D-Day and President Obama is hitting the beaches – of sunny California!
Instead of scheduling a brief event to mark the 68th anniversary of America’s brutal landing on the shores of Normandy, Obama is already on his way to San Francisco, where he will hold two fundraisers before moving on to Beverly Hills to stage two more.
Obama failed to mark D-Day with either a speech or a written proclamation both last year or the year before. He did give a speech in 2009, the 65th anniversary of the event.
First Lady Michelle Obama, who has made much of her “Joining Forces” campaign to support military families, also has nothing planned for D-Day. She’ll be in New York City for a fundraiser and then in Philadelphia to meet with campaign volunteers.

BHO did celebrate D-Day. His version is called “Donation Day”, and he celebrates it all the time.
Bay Area Patriots/SF Tea Party was there to welcome him to the financial district–where BHO worked overtime turning those 1%-ers into 99%-ers by collecting up all their loose change.

Again – it’s a pop culture reference. But, in point of fact, the British and French started WWII by declaring war on Germany. Prior to that, it was just Germany vs. Poland (and within a few days, it was Germany & the USSR vs. Poland), there was no “World” aspect to it. Interesting that the Brits and French so respected their promise to defend Poland that they kinda overlooked the Soviet troops.
And to be precisely accurate, it really wasn’t a “World” war until Japan attacked the US and the European holdings in Asia. Prior to that, it was just a really big European war, and a Sino-Japanese war.

One of the local talk radio guys this morning was talking about Obama’s coming to CA. Naturally, the idiot is landing at LAX at rush hour then taking Marine One to the VA Hosp in LA to hop in his car and once again muck up traffic on LA’s west side. For those of you who don’t know,street traffic in that area on a good day flows at approx 5 mph during rush hour. And, the 4th game of the Stanley Cup Finals is being played in downtown LA tonight. All those folks driving in to downtown are adding to the mess. Anyway, this radio host referred to Obozo’s trip as his “Cash grab & go”. Very appropriate. I cannot wait until this jerk is evicted from the White House!
