NJ Gov. Christie Courting Radical Islamist Cleric

Stop Radical Islam

After New Jersey Attorney General Jeffrey S. Chiesa cleared the NYPD of misconduct in its intelligence-gathering efforts in N.J., he met with some Muslim leaders to discuss his findings. The full list of attendees hasn’t been publicized but there is one name that is known: Imam Mohammad Qatanani of the Islamic Center of Passaic County.

N.J. Governor Chris Christie (shown right) has been feeling heat from

anti-Islamist activists ever since the Investigative Project on Terrorism published a startling report about his relationship with Imam Qatanani, who the Department of Homeland Security wants deported. In 1999, he failed to disclose on his green card application that he was convicted by Israel in 1993 of being a member of Hamas. He also admits to having been a member of the Muslim Brotherhood but says he left it in 1991—not because he turned against the group, but because he simply didn’t have enough time in the day anymore.

The mosque that Qatanani currently leads, the Islamic Center of Passaic County (ICPC), was founded in 1989 by Hamas operative Mohammed el-Mezain, who has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for financing the terrorist group. El-Mezain also served as the ICPC’s imam and was the chairman of the Holy Land Foundation, a charity that was shut down for being a Hamas/Muslim Brotherhood front.

For the life of me, I still can’t figure out why Coulter has such passion for this turd, unless she’s a closet chubby chaser.

    He’s a two-ton RINO!

MISTAKE! Don’t focus on his girth, friends. This guy had so much promise in the beginning, but has been such a letdown since.

And Coulter’s just cheering for the home team. She’s been buds with these New England RINO pols for decades.

Boobie, Joisey is not in New England-they don’t call it “the God-forsaken State” for nothing.

No I think that Ann has shed her skin and showed us that she’s a RINO deep down.

    Pity.

@ Czar- Naw. TWO New Englanders (sorry, perc) on the ticket defeats the purpose. The idea is to pick somebody your enemies hate more than you, your friends find palatable AND who comes from a fence-sitting part of the country. Rick Perry.

(I’m convinced Joe Biden is the only thing that has kept Barak Obama alive. I’m convinced that LBJ engineered the JFK plot. And who was more reviled than W by the ‘RATs? Dick Cheney.)

Hey Boobie, if Mittens needs girth to round out the ticket, then the guy onyour Avatar – Junior Samples would fit the bill.

God, he was funny. I miss that show.

@ perc- He’d be better than Biden. At least when he went off-topic, he made sense.

@ MoeTom – Good choice but West is more needed where he is. And he needs a track record. The left would highlight the debacle (caused by them) that ended his military career.

Palin’s too love/hate and she slipped big-time with that bit about Orrin Hatch.

    My money’s on Perry.

I wouldn’t trust Christie as far as I could throw him.
And that ain’t far, without the aid of a catapult.

Scary as it is, I agree with this from the Comments:
John Steenhof · Westminster Theological Seminary
“Reminds me of the naivete of Neville Chamberlain in his appeasement of Hitler at Munich.”

If Christie is the Veep I’m writing in Palin

And if it’s gonna be a full-on RINO ticket Repubs deserve to lose, if for no other reason than they can no longer blame it on Palin/the TEA party

See y’all on the other side of Heaven

I agree with you, @Justsomebody. This is one big reason why Christie should never be VP.
