House Budget Committee chairman Paul Ryan’s (R., Wis.) proposals to solve the country’s debt and deficit crisis continue to be far more popular with elected officials than those put forward by President Obama.

The Democratic-led Senate on Wednesday unanimously rejected the president’s fiscal year 2013 budget by final vote of 99-0. Sen. Mark Kirk (R., Ill.), who has been recovering from a stroke, did not vote; it is presumed he would have voted no.

The Senate last year voted down the president’s budget 97-0.

Not a single federal lawmaker has voted in favor of Obama’s budget proposals over the past two years. The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office recently concluded that the president’s budget, if enacted, would have a negative impact on long-term economic growth.

Ryan’s proposals, which have twice passed the U.S. House of Representatives, have received a total of 544 affirmative votes, with 41 Senators voting ‘yes’ on Wednesday. Last year, 40 Senators supported Ryan’s plan.

Okay I’ll be optimistic on this one that it’s more than election year kissing up: kissing up to who? The TEA party? Ya mean the not-so-defunct TEA party? Hehehehehe… :)

Now can we start fantasizing about Romney doing the right thing Cabinet-wise? Like Sarah for Energy, and Paul Ryan for Treasury? And Hermanator for Labor or Commerce?

How can anyone expect Obama to come up with a decent budget when Fatass runs around all the time like the spendthrift she is? She’s a bad influence on his budgetary policy making.

So if one were to get a hold of the Obama budget and read it, would it be written like a child’s book? Little doodles of unicorns and rainbows dancing in a meadow fulled up with a liberal dose of daffodils on a self portrait background white house letterhead.

Their North Carolina convention is doomed to be a disaster. By November the other democraps will be avoiding him like the plague.
I saw Mittens used the phrase “prairy fire” in one of his recent ads blasting oblubberer. That’s a good sign that he is growing a pair…

O.k. – it was the $1 million line item for Marlboros, $27 billion for vacations, and the $0 income tax projections from the wealthy after I have them put against the wall and shot that scuttled this budget, wasn’t it? How about I hide the cigarette budget somewhere else – would you pass it then?

Good God, even my lap dog Harry voted against it.

Stay vigilant in exposing this usurper – do not let him steal this election and take down this great nation.

Do you all realize how historic this is?

Has any major initiative by any American President or any prime minister in any democracy EVER failed to get a single vote in his country’s legislative assembly? Do you know what the response would have been in any system with a prime minister? Five seconds after the unanimous rejection, there would have been a vote of no confidence and the PM would have been tossed out on his ass.

Do you all realize that even the vote to declare war against Japan after Pearl Harbor was not unanimous? Apparently, the idea that “I’m cool with Japan killing 2500 American even as they were lulling us to sleep with phony diplomatic overtures” was less radical than Obama’s budget
