GOP probe uncovers deal between Obama and drug companies

Three years ago, President Obama cut a secret deal with pharmaceutical company lobbyists to secure the industry’s support for his national health care law. Despite Obama’s promises during his campaign to run a transparent administration, the deal has been shrouded in mystery ever since. But internal emails obtained by House Republicans now provide evidence that a deal was struck and GOP investigators are promising to release more details in the coming weeks.
“What the hell?” White House Deputy Chief of Staff Jim Messina, who is now Obama’s campaign manager, complained to a lobbyist for the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) in January 15, 2010 email. “This wasn’t part of our deal.”
This reference to “our deal” came two months before the final passage of Obamacare in an email with the subject line, “FW: TAUZIN EMAIL.” At the time, Billy Tauzin was president and CEO of PhRMA.

President? Nope, an empowered military can bomb the shit out of any country who messes with us: get in, get ‘er done, and get out quickly
Congress? Lord no, law-abiding citizens and the 2A can take care of their own households, and local police can take care of the troublemakers in their communities. And think of how much $$ we’ll save no longer having to pay the golden parachutes for 535 millionaires
SCOTUS? Maybe, but if everyone just obeyed the 10 Commandments and the real Golden Rule we wouldn’t need them either; see police above for those who can’t even do that much. There, now we don’t need all those other warehouses full of other insane legislations

You can bet YOUR ASS that Billy Tauzin made the Deals. He is from right here in my neck of the woods and I would never trust him with my wallet. He may have called himself a Republican but he is as liberal as the day is long….especially if money is attached to something. He only became a Republican when he saw the writing on the wall in Louisiana and then he switched from the Dem/Communist Party. To Hell with him and the Kenyan or whatever nationality may be. I doubt he even knows.

It looks like people are finally waking up to the nightmare some of us have been living the last 3 years. @bitterclinger: Boehner and Cantor have not helped us at all. Will be a joy to see them gone and get someone up there who cares about us. I figure they know something big-time on Boehner and he is scared of them.
