Obama Turns Speech to Troops Into Campaign Event
President Obama spoke to the troops today in Georgia and turned the event into a campaign stop. Fox Nation called it a “collectivist rant” which pretty much sums it up.
“…Each of us is only here because somebody looked out for us. Not just our parents, but our neighbors and our communities and our houses of worship and our VFW halls. Because we had a country that was willing to invest in things like community colleges and universities and scientific research and medicine and caring for our veterans. Each of us is only here because somebody somewhere had our backs. Because generations of Americans worked together. “Out of many we are one.” Those are values we gotta return to…”
Watch the video, he received a round of applause that was more like golf clapping.

What is really interesting, is that is Moochelle that starts clapping first to try to get the rally going, then when you watch, it looks like only have the troops are clapping.

All the young vets I know who spent time in Iraq or Afghanistan can’t stand Obama. Come to think of it, all the old vets I know can’t stand him, either.

Why I remember growing up, Frank Marshal Davis had my back, he made me strip down first, that’s funny. He introduced me to Malcom, then there was Bill Ayres. But the guy that has my back the most was my pal George, were making a killing in oil down in Brazil these days.

Yes, we were ordered to be there. The majority of us did not want to attend. I personally would have preferred to be out in the field training.
The applause, for the most part, followed the standard demographics.
Many in the military are not fans because of real or potential losses of pay and benefits. Few follow the the politic or history of this man, and there is a great deal of ignorance along those lines.

obama actually doesn’t know what the motto “E pluribus unum” means (another tell of his mooslem upbringing). It has nothing to do with community organizing as he says in this speech. It means we share the same values as Americans – something he obviously doesn’t do.

Too be honest she didn’t look bad at all. A couple of my buddies thought she looked great. I guess “Red” is her color.
The main points I took from his speech were: All private online education institutions are trying to rip soldiers off, and he’s fixing it. Of course we know he wants 100% government run education. Also, he’s real proud that the government is employing hundreds of thousands of former soldiers. And of course we know why…because he’s crippling the private economy.
I remember chuckling out loud when he said towards the beginning “Joe Biden and I are working for you!”.

I don’t know much about US political law but can’t a complaint be filled with the election commission that shows Obama is using the trappings of his office to actually campaign? This stop, the Fallon show both seem to show that. At the least it would force Obama back on his heels a bit if a shower of complaints came in. It may even force him to pay for some of this largesse out of his warchest.
