There is a reason for this – the liberal/media left detests Israel. They hate the success of Israel and the defiance of the Israelis on the world stage. Granted, Israel has had help with aid from various countries (not unlike the massive aid given to Egypt but nevermind).

The one problem in the liberal media’s hate on for Israel is that Israel is the only true democracy in the Middle East, where gays and women have equal rights and where Arabs can actually become citizens of Israel. The Horrors!! All at the same time that Israel is under constant threat of being wiped out by bombs from Gaza, suicide bombers from anywhere, and not a nuclear bomb from Iran. And the fact that Israel is a democracy and thrives shuts down most of the hate that the liberal media have for Israel.

Which is why they believed against all real evidence that the Arab Spring was going to ‘work’ out and turn one of those basket case Islamic countries into a democracy!!!Because if it worked, then they could do a no hold bar criticism of Israel with the real hope of crushing Israel (can’t have success you know).

You are right, only they believed that the Arab Spring was going to result in a real democracy. The trick now is for the liberal media to redefine democracy!

Ralph Peters has a great book out that addresses these political and strategic delusions, entitled ENDLESS WAR. It’s a collection of his essays about war in general and war with the musloids in particular. I’m guessing most here, especially Ann B, will really enjoy the “Taliban From Outer Space” chapter. It’s a good book. I recommend it.
