Lib Compares Dog to Republicans
Washington Post Magazine humorist Gene Weingarten devoted Easter morning to bashing the Republicans by suggesting his dog Murphy seems awfully Republican. She has an “inappropriate interest in the reproductive systems of women she does not know,” is by breeding a “gun-loving redneck,” and so “As might be expected, she has some issues with racial diversity…and her policies on entitlements and redistribution of wealth are unambiguous: ‘I got mine.’”
Then he nominated his dog as a running mate for Mitt Romney…since Romney has a doggie scandal. He even insulted MRC’s Dan Gainor on Twitter: “This guy tweets that I am insulting Repubs by comparing them to dogs. Frankly, I thought I was insulting dogs.”
Some of this is mildly wink-wink humorous, like the dog opposing the Postal Service. (This time, it doesn’t contain phrases like “petticoat despots” and “squinty-eyed know-nothings.”) But clearly, there’s more politics than laughs in this one — unless, like Gene, you’re a sneering liberal.

I’ve had several dogs that have graced my life. Each of them had more character and a better moral compass than any liberal I’ve known or heard of. If it comes down to having to save a dog, or a liberal the liberal loses in my book. Dogs have a purpose in this world. To show loyalty and unconditional love to anyone who will care for them. I’ve never known any liberal who would do that in any way shape or form.

I love dogs by why put the kitties down? Kitties show love and are good companions. You won’t have a mouse problem with a couple cats around. They give you hours of entertainment when you have them chase a laser light around.
