Current TV files countersuit against Olbermann

Current TV on Friday counter-sued former host Keith Olbermann, claiming he failed to perform his duties for the progressive television network and saying it does not owe him “a dime” of the millions Olbermann claims he is owed.
Current and Olbermann, who hosted his program “Countdown” on the network, have been locked in a war of words and legal filings since last week, when Current fired the commentator claiming he had breached his contract.
The liberal firebrand sued the network on Thursday seeking as much as $70 million he says he is owed for compensation and an equity stake he was given in the fledgling network.
Current is run by its founder Joel Hyatt and former U.S. Vice President Al Gore.
In his suit, Olbermann launched a scathing attack on Hyatt and Gore, saying the network was plagued with problems and comparing it to “an unprofessional cable-access show.”

Reminds me of the story of the old country boy who told about a wild cat that jumped through his window and took after his wife…”first fight I ever seen where I didn’t give a shit who won.”

No one will hire Olbermann either way due to this threat of lawsuit, tantrums, etc.; ergo, I hope he wins. Just shows you how much I disdain Gore.

This is the guy who once said Scott Brown is in favor of violence against women and that McCain should suspend his campaign before Sarah Palin turns her supporters into a mob of homicidal racists. Keith’s whole life is an unprofessional cable-access show.

…and comparing it to “an unprofessional cable-access show.”
Gee, I guess the first hint would have been when they hired him.

While I’ve never been a fan of cannibalism per se, I still find it highly entertaining to watch Dhimmies eat one another alive….

Maybe him and Rosie can team up and start their own reality show and call it Americas biggest piehole.
I hope the vultures (attorneys) suck Olberwoman and Gore dry.

‘Cable-access’ has that same all powerful connotation as ‘straight-to-DVD’. Losers.

If things go right Gore will lose. Plus he’ll have to pay his own attorneys tens of millions more. And he still has to pay for Olberman’s replacement, Client Number 9. All this at a time when Gore can’t even generate enough ad revenue to pay Olberman. Gore made a billion dollars by fleecing others. Turn about is fair play. Oh, and the attorneys and court costs are going to eat up a healthy chunk of Olberman’s winnings. Is this a great country or what?

Um, when you hit the “More” link you get:
“Gravy-wrestling model suffers horrific facial injuries after being hit with monkey wrench when she interrupted a friend having sex” from the UK Daily Mail”.
Arguably a better read however not quite was expected.
