@Dr. Tar — I remember reading that very thing about 2 years ago. As I recall, the authors were democrats and the subject was the future of the Obama “presidency” and how it would be viewed by historians. As I recall, the main thrust of the article was that if he succeeds (though I don’t know how the authors would have determined that), it would be a “victory” for “african americans.” However, if he failed (which seems more likely and easier to determine), then it would be blamed on “white racism.” That is, any success would be black and any failure would be white.

And the old media wonders why their viewership and readership are down while that of the new media is up.

That’s a relief. I thought long and hard before making any reference to the President’s racial background.

Given how the left obsesses about race and they assume those that oppose thier agenda are racist as well. It becomes difficult to make a point about their laser like focus on race without worrying about them putting the racism death ray on you for making the effort.
