Is FOX News anchor Shepard Smith sick? Shepard ‘Shep’ Smith’s gaunt frame and heavy makeup worn during news broadcasts has led to speculation among viewers about the FOX News anchor’s health. Never watch him – can’t stand his commentary, especially during live breaking events. Someone should remind him he’s on TV, not the radio. He describes EVERYTHING happening.

I noticed months ago that Shep looked really gaunt and wondered if he had AIDS; after all he is homosexual and those things do happen.

According to Out magazine, Shep is ‘one of the most powerful gay men’ in the country. He also appears to be one of the most gravely ill gay men in the country.

I watch Shepard Smith every night for about 10 seconds – that’s the time it takes me to find the remote and change the channel after Bret’s newscast.
All I can say is, perhaps better life habits would improve his looks.

Yeah, my first thought was AIDS. With the weight loss and the heavy makeup it would make sense. There is a huge difference in how he looks now versus a year ago while covering the tsunami in Japan. I don’t ever watch him so it is a shocking contrast. Gone are his boyish/babyface looks. I don’t care for him, but would not wish that on him.

BTW – If you wanna pitch in, I’m still collecting used condoms for my new earth-friendly recycling program. By turning them inside out and rinsing them well, instead of throwing them away, we can save tons of those trees or shrubs or cactuses or whatever they make those things out of, and then send them to poor people in Africa and mexico and Utah and wherever else they need to cut down on babies.
And then when THEY get done with them I have a friend at Berkley who has a ‘green’ way of turning them into long lasting chewing gum! Our compassion is what makes us liberals.

He has definitely lost weight. And you can be a homosexual and lose weight without having HIV or some other sickness.

Never could understand why Shep is in the business he is. He stumbles over sentences, mispronounces or misreads words, gives people the wrong sex pronoun in a story. He probably needs better contact lenses. Both he and that Brian guy on Fox and Friends cannot read a news story clearly. Now both are ugly (Brian also wears heavy makeup but it is pointless…) so I do not see any purpose for them. I listen on satellite radio and sometimes I have to turn to the BBC Radio because even if it is left-leaning it is so refreshing to listen to newscasters who are able to enunciate and speak the Kings English with such precision and clarity.
