I am home with my 4 year old son, he asked why I was crying and brought me tissues, I explained to him that one of America’s Greatest Heroes has died. My little boy gave me hugs and brought more tissues.

OMG! What happened? And on the day Sheriff Arpaio releases his report on Obama! Very suspect! This is a disaster for the conservative movement.

I haven’t been very good at processing this. I haven’t cried about the death of someone known to me only at a distance since, well I don’t know. Maybe Reagan? He was a huge bright funny fearless warrior.

I read his sites, loved the videos, read his book and hoped one day to meet and shake his hand to thank him for fighting the good fight with such passion, humor and integrity.

I was listening to talk radio on my way home from work and the guy (sorry, don’t remember who) was playing clips of Andrew and him talking about God. The guy said something about Andrew being an agnostic and Andrew said he was leaning closer to God than ever. He had just finished reading CS Lewis Mere Christianity and was struck with just how sane and intelligent Mr. Lewis was.

I just saw him in Troy, Michigan on Saturday. Frank Beckmann is running some of the interview he did with him on Friday right now on WJR. He mentioned Breitbart was on the Atkins diet and his eating habits were a problem for him. Maybe heart? Don’t know.

I know I’ve always enjoyed his writings. I’ve admired his boldness, courage and beliefs. His autograph inside my copy of his book, “Fight the Man!” A comment like that would be expected from him.

I lost my kitty today too. Rusty was 14 years old. They found a large tumor in his tummy yesterday. Surgery was this morning. Cancer everywhere. They sewed him back up and gave him peace.

Rusty was a brave warrior too.

My world lost two inspirational soldiers today.

OMG! I am so sad and speechless. God Bless Andrew and his family. We will miss you, your strength and courage and we will fight to keep the light going.

Like many of you, I also share the conspiracy theory of it not being natural causes. What a shame to feel that way.

Fox quotes his father in law saying that Andrew had been dealing with heart problems this past year. Sounds like it may have been a heart attack but given the nasty, evil nature of the left, it’s only natural to suppose something more sinister. As one of the other commenters noted, it’s hard not to think of the assassinations of people like Georgi Markov when you hear news like this. It may not be entirely valid but it’s not irrational.

It’s hard not to read something into that description, because of the bammy college tapes announcement. He was too smart not to have made dupes and had that information in several vaults.

Hopefully, the material he was going to release (referred to in CPAC speech) is guarded and will be made public at a time when it will ensure that 0 Huessein does not have his five more years and he can get his Chevy Volt to drive around in the FCI.

He left a body of work from which we can learn a lot about conservatism.

I was shocked, and also immediatly assumed foul play. However, even Breitbart.com is saying natural causes at this point. It is not unheard of for someone of his age to be struck down by heart problems (all you 42 year olds getting nervous- I’m 54, I know my clock is ticking…). However, it wouldn’t take much to convince me it wasn’t natural.

Just Monday I had posted a humor post about him being my man crush…He was such an inspiration. He made me realize how important it is to passionate about our beliefs, and vocal. The world only had one of him, but it could sure use more like him.

I never knew about Andrew’s previous media experience. It just seemed like he was a white knight that suddenly burst onto the scene out of nowhere. And just as quickly, he’s gone.

I met Andrew a couple of years ago, and for the first time in my life, I was starstruck. He was a hero to me. I am saddened beyond belief. I sincerely hope Andrew knew just how much he did to empower us nobodies. He gave me my political backbone. For that I will be forever grateful, and he will be forever missed.

Today is a day to affirm our commitment to the preservation of our Constitution and now is the time to vow that we will carry on Mr. Breitbart’s message of TRUTH! We must adopt his bravery. We must hone our investigative skills. We must put our support behind his company’s goals and stick our damn chests out in defiance when we are confronted by the idiocy and lies of the Left!

Rusty Cat left our family with memories and love and lessons learned. (He also left us a dirty litter box, but I don’t blame him for my laziness!) One thing Rusty was good at was being a mouser. I appreciated every dead rodent he brought to the middle of my kitchen floor to brag about! What Mr. Breitbart exposed and left us to clean up is government corruption, cover-ups, overspending, and deception. It’s time to become mousers, my IOTW friends!

This is very depressing news. And I can’t help but remember that it was only weeks ago that Brietbart ingested food prepared by that unrepentent terrorist William Ayers. I hope that all other high profile conservatives remember not to be so cavalier about trusting the left with their physical safety.

All I can say is that if I can garner just 10% of the hatred and vitriol from the lunatic left that Andrew Breitbart inspired, I will have lived a life that was good and worthwhile.

I just heard on my way home from work. I’m heartbroken.

Who will replace him to stand in the gap for us all? Probably not one person; but many.

Ahh…the tolerant left.

I just read an article in Big Hollywood (A Breitbart Blog), by Orsen Bean, Andrews Father In Law, entitled, “The World Has a Muslim Problem.” I remember Orson Bean from 60′s TV. He is now 84. He has always been a conservative and, I think, Holliwood gave him the cold shoulder. IT didn’t deter him though. In the closing lines of this article, about Muslims and liberals, he states: “But leftists are not just hateful, they are stupid.” Worth the google.

I learned of it this morning, but only now am at a place where I can comment.
At first I was devastated. Then angry. I am over that now.
I am resolved to do more personally to make up for the void left by his absence in the conservative resurgency. I don’t know what it is yet, but I will know when I find it.

I think many of us feel as you do Jethro.

I saw a Twitter feed from a Joshua Trevino that read: “You wish to honor the man? Very well then; take up his sword and fight as he did.”
