Ex-Palin Aide Fined $12,000 for Using State Emails in Book
A former aide to Sarah Palin has been fined for using confidential emails to write a tell-all book. Frank Bailey was fined just under $12,000 for violating the state’s ethics law, The Anchorage Daily News reports.
An activist filed the complaint with the attorney general’s office after hearing of Bailey’s plans to use the emails he obtained while a member of Palin’s gubernatorial staff. He wrote “Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin,” which came out last spring.

@Twellsy: As Thelma Ritter said in “Rear Window” of Raymond Burr’s character,
“That face would not get you a loan at the bank.”
