Passionate…that’s what we need. Someone who is more passionate about our country than themselves. It’s rare…but not impossible. I’m gonna write in Levin.

God bless Mark Levin.. This has been a rather depressing day, with almost all the once-”trusworthy” sites on the right posting screeds against Gingrich.

    Is he perfect? No.
Is he the best of those running? HELL YES!

I’ve notice Moonbattery, which I visit frequently, is very much anti-Newt, pro-Romney and constantly uses Ann Coulter as a reference and authority.

    Strange.

Are they posting Coulter’s proclamations from 2008 when she declared Mitt Romney a loser and the last thing the right needed?

Thank God for Mark Levin. I agree with Czar – depressing to see that Mittens negative ads may be having an effect in Florida. Levin’s piece raised my spirits a little. I pray that the Florida voters were listening.

Some very deep pockets are involved. Greed is a horrible thing and waving a piss-pot full of money in front of someone who has very little (quite a few blogs just scrape by and I’m sure few make the amount of money the Super-Pacs are spending). I know from personal experience what greed will do to you and the consequenses of ignoring that little voice in the back of your mind. http://anexconsview.wordpress.com/2012/01/23/the-love-of-money/

Haven’t found it yet, but there’s this one that Ann says Newt is the least conservative of all of them.

    http://moonbattery.com/?p=7203

I really like Moonbattery, but I don’t know what to make of it. It seems a lot of conservative blogs out there including Drudge recently are going off the deep end.

    Thoughtful, indeed.

Pick o’ the litter, for me, continues to be Ron Paul.

But, thoughtful, indeed. ….Lady in Red

PS: Newt’s invocation of Nancy Reagan’s “endorsement” of him in the debate, and elsewhere, was smarmy, smarmy, smarmy.

I can listen to Mark Levin all day long…
Which would you rather have — Levin’s passion vs. the banality of Dennis Miller….
Levin’s passion vs. the inanities of Hannity? Levin had deep sadness when Palin withdrew from running on his show.

The only Conservative yeller is Ann Coulter – instant turnoff.

I think a lot of this comes from the inner circle of the RNC believing that they can’t win and looking for a way to blame their failure on others.

Romney wins the nomination and loses the general election.
-Fault of the rank and file.
Newt wins the nomination and loses the general.
-Fault of the rank and file.

    Romney wins the general.
-All glory to the elites, no thanks to the rank and file.
    Newt wins the general.
-Elites suck up to the media to destroy him.

Am I being paranoid? Maybe so but there’s a definite “my way or the highway” campaign going on with the Republican party. I think they resent not being able to preordain a candidate and have the sheep accept it through referendum.

And how lame was that Maryann bullshit? It’s obvious she thought she had Newts destiny in her hands. Shallow and mean. No wonder he got tired of that.

You hear him say it. And I’ve heard him say other crap that hints that he will not REPEAL OBAMACARE!

Like, he will give states opt-outs.

I’m telling you – ROMNEY will NOT REPEAL ObamaCare. He will get into office, and with his car salesman BS talk he’ll say it would be a waste of time to start over – let’s fix what we’ve been handed.

    O Captain! my Captain! our fearful thread is done;
    The site has weathered every rack, the prize we sought is won;
The router is near, the modem I hear, the people all exulting,
While follow eyes the steady CPU, the monitor grim and daring:

    But O heart! heart! heart!
O the bleeding drops of L.I.R,
Where on the thread my Captain lies,
    Fallen cold and drunk…

This whole Romney/Gingrich thing has me so fed up with the $$$ grubbing establishment, I just may vote for the Odumbler.

    Take that dumbasses!

This needs to be the division’s final moment. Get everyone who fcuking hates Romney to not vote the Odumbler out, BUT VOTE HIM IN!

    Dammit!

Ya, I know, sounds bad and if anyone despises The Wun, it IS ME.

Consider this… The Odumbler sucks, he sucks real, real bad. We all know this.

But ya thunk it’s gonna get any better with another FCUKING “made man” sitting at the helm???

    Fcuk this shit.

To wit… I heard some common sense on the PROGLATURD radio show today.

Drudge, Coulter, El Rushbo, Beck, Hannity, etc.

ALL of them make more money when we are PISSED OFF.

Last time I checked – each one of the candidates happens to be “a human being, a person”…HOW do you KNOW he is not coached, trained??? What NONE of you Paultards seem to get is that Paul is in fact, a politician – and has been one for a VERY LONG time. Is it the vinegar that keeps him pure and all the rest of the politicians corrupt?

WATCH him at the debates – he’s as adroit as any at NOT answering a question, or dancing around it.

    Sheesh.

Funny you should mention that. When Obamacare passed, I said to any conservative in earshot- “the Republicans will never repeal it”. Then I added- “Just wait until Romney’s the nominee and running on platform of ‘fixing’ but not repealing Obamacare”.

I disagree with the very loud claim that Gingrich won the house back in 1995.

I was a long time democrat, pretty much up until the election in question. And I can tell you what made me a republican and that was fricking Bill Clinton.

If he had been less of a liar I might be trying to make excuses for Barak Obama right now. So lets stop this shouting and name calling in the name of being against name calling.

The “Great One” was around when the Republican Revolution of ’94 started and he was very involved in the Reagan White House. Levin’s also a constitutional lawyer and very familiar with Newt’s leadership role in the House. If he defends Newt, it’s because he’s experienced first-hand what it takes to get an agenda passed in Congress. I’ll go with Newt, any day!
