CHICKEN nugget fan Stacey Irvine has been warned they are KILLING her — because the 17-year-old has eaten practically nothing else since the age of TWO.
Horrified doctors learned of the teenager’s chronic 15-year addiction after she collapsed and was rushed to hospital struggling to breathe.
Factory worker Stacey, who has never touched greens or fruit, was found to have anaemia and swollen veins in her tongue.
Yesterday she was recovering at home after being put on an urgent course of vitamins — which started in hospital with injections. But despite medics begging her to change her diet she STILL cannot get enough of chicken nuggets.
Stacey, of Castle Vale, Birmingham, said: “I am starting to realise this is really bad for me.
“McDonald’s chicken nuggets are my favourite. I share 20 with my boyfriend with chips.
“But I also like KFC and supermarket brands. My main meal is always chicken nuggets every day.”
Mum Evonne, 39, is battling to get her seen by a specialist.
She said: “I’m at my wit’s end. I’m praying she can be helped before it’s too late.
“It breaks my heart to see her eating those damned nuggets.

Big time parenting fail! I would have taken the kid camping about 2 days after she stopped eating only nuggets. We’d have stayed on the camping trip until she started eating real food.

Her social worker will give her an EBT card that only allows chicken nuggets. Hopefully, she will die soon and we can all move on without another idiot in the world.

Blame it on Ronald McDonald. It’s all his fault for addicting her to eating basically nothing but chicken nuggets. We used to joke that chicken nuggets were made made from beaks and feet and other inedible parts of the chicken and processed to resemble anything remotely even resembling food. Now don’t get me started on chicken or turkey hotdogs or Spam.

A prime example of the nanny state and entitlement mindset. Also an example of what “socialized” medicine is, fighting for a child to be seen by a specialist. Currently, in America, seeing a specialist would not be a problem but under oblablacare, the situation that this teen is facing would be the everyday norm. Reference back to yesterdays post about the refused kidney transplant. It’s not about the needs of the individual, it’s about the collective good and the individuals contributions (or potential contributions) to the collective.

Told my wife this story as I read it. She assumed that the girl was a fat troll, and I said No, look at her picture, she’s a pretty girl, you’d have to look close at the dark circles under her eyes to see that she’s malnourished.
It’s another wake up call to ALL to fight the trends of modern lifestyles. RUN AGAINST THE HERD !!!

This is just natural selection. The weak and stupid WILL NOT survive.
Of course we will soon hear about the caring politician who wants to pass a new law that makes it illegal to sell chicken nuggets to anyone under the age of 25. Then, without a doubt, we will be bombarded with studies claiming that second hand nugget eating is dangerous to the public health.

I liked McNuggets for a while, because of the sweet chili sauce they had available. Then came the day that I bit into one and encountered a big ol’ knot of gristle. Kind of turned me off McNuggets after that, especially since they are made of mechanically processed chicken and there is NO excuse for a hunk of gristle to make an appearance.

@Merry Poppit: Why would Mom be any different from the rest of her generation? No personal responsibility at all, everything is the fault of someone or some evil corporation. Lawsuits will sprout! Everyone from the NHS, McDonalds Corp. and the local school board (and the state itself for not being even more interventional than they already are). This ‘mom’ (I use the term loosely) is simply an incubator with legs, popping out the next generation of proles for the state.

Injection of vitamins? Sounds like typical state healthcare. She probably has liver or kidney problems but there is little chance she will get decent medical care.
Can’t blame it all on chicken nuggets. Parents that let kids raise themselves are the number one culprits in this situation.
