Typical liberal race card smear job.

Neo-con = Socialists infiltrated the Republican party. That’s why their candidates are as socialist fiscally as Obama and as violent as Stalin.

Lapel pins and crosses are the new hammer and sickle in the jingoist, FED worshiping, Republican party. Don’t let Republicans tell you they are for limited government. It’s a lie. They LOVE government and keep expanding it every chance they get.

Eisenhower warned us what would when our wealth the currency that backs it is actually backed by the production of death. Our weapons are sold to countries like Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq etc while we prop up their dictators. And all for nothing but more re-arm their new leaders and keep them under our control against the will of their population; guaranteeing more instability. All in the name of weapon contracts and a steady flow of oil.

But the question remains, who will Ron Paul support when he loses?

“But the question remains, who will Ron Paul support when he loses?”

Idk but I’m pretty sure a large percentage if not most of us will write his name in since we see Romney/Gingrich/Perry/Bachman etc as no different than Obama.

Paul’s the only viable Republican candidate willing to eliminate unconstitutional agencies. Perry says he will eliminate a select few. Meanwhile Perry has an extremely bad track record when it comes to private property rights (google Trans Texas Corridor)

The “front runners” support Obamacare so that’s a definite NO when I vote.

Ah but the problem is that even if he wins he won’t be able to get anything done because he can’t control the house and senate. Since he’s a man of ‘principal’ surely he won’t be swayed to compromise on matters of urgency?

What exactly has he accomplished during his years in the senate?

    @Frosteetoes

Ahh I see. He won’t be able to get anything done because the constitution has been irrelevant for a long time and and the socialists in the Repub and Dem parties wont cooperate with him. Well that’s true to an extent. Our country is actually that far gone that the self described “limited government” party even is for huge government.

But the truth is he can get some done. He will have several departments that he can controland he can force the Republicans in congress to prove what socialist redistributors they are. That is more than any Republican in the last 20 years have done. Point out the ugly truth that Republicans support wealth distribution and their voters have been useful idiots voting against their own beliefs.

Are the income tax, social security, medicare, medicaid, public schools, central banking, USDA, FDA programs all part of a socialst system of redistributing wealth? OF COURSE?

But will Newt Romney or Mitt Gingrich do anything about them? HELL NO!

They both support socialized medicine for example. Need I say more?

    Attention Republicans: Capitalism works

I can’t believe I have to try and convince you of this. Either you believe in the free market and vote for Paul or you don’t and vote for the clones of democrats.

Meanwhile BigFurHat is busy playing the race card.

But seriously, are their any bills named after him? What has he actually accomplished while in the senate?

You think it’s a negative against him to not have any bills named after him when the deficit is over 15 trillion dollars???

His reputation is that of one that stands up (alone) against these idiots that are spending our great grand children’s money.

@dissident – I’ll at least give you credit for answering Frostee’s question even though your answer prettily dresses up the fact Paul’s got ZIP, NOTHING, GOOSE EGGS, ZILCH as far as legislature. All your answer shows is what an ineffectual little leader he is. Are his constituents just paying him for his so-called sterling reputation??

Aunt Liz…. It is interesting that we, often, value folk in DC by the number of bills they introduce. You don’t think we have enough laws? Introducing new legislation is what would be better than Ron Paul, “an ineffectual little leader,” as you put it…?

I’d like to see Congress repeal five old laws for every new one they pass. I do *not* value representation that wants to be part of making more and more and more new laws.

It’s interesting to me that that *is* how you measure a leader in the govt. A lot of people agree with you. I often see candidate brochures lauding the number of new laws the candidate tried, or succeeded, in passing.

Pisses *me* off! But I’m sure that most people value that activity, as do you.

It’s just not where *I* want to see the country go. …Lady in Red

I’d be happy with President Paul doing nothing but using his veto pen for 4 or 8 years considering the state we are in.
