The only problem is that Obama at his nadir is still more popular than Palin at her zenith. That simply won’t do.

Ah, Hyperbole in action.
While the trends seem interestingly negatively correlated, we’re only talking about a change of one percent with both. And that’s over 3 a three month period. It would be better to see a population size for each of those polls as well. So, in my opinion, it is probably safe to let obamabots and Palin haters see this. The bots would not be able to tell what they were looking at, and the haters would put down the knife.

I’m with you Norm…that would make Christmas for the following four years!
I had a dream this morning (actually a day dream). I dreamt that after Mitt Romney secured the Republican nomination (after the Dems had eliminated everyone else), Sarah Palin glommed onto the also-rans and mounted a Conservative Party challenge to the Brylcreem RINO candidate. I saw Allan West as VP, Newt as Secretary of State, Cain at Commerce, Bachmann at Justice and Paul Ryan at Treasury.
I also saw Huntsman as a tour director at the Tabernacle, Ron Paul as the ’Nurse Ratched’ at a Texas loon bin and Rick Perry as Texas Governor (anything else just isn’t big enough).
The long and short of it is a political apocalypse. Mittens wouldn’t know what hit him. It would be a ‘Mission to Save America’ from itself.
Palin mounts the stage with her team of committed conservatives and lays out the plan to save America, after telling us just how screwed we are. She would cite chapter, line and verse of our situation and point her finger at those that brought us to this dance. No sitting politician, banker or lobbyist, involved with our demise, would be spared. No vote would be asked for that didn’t come with a pledge to purge the rolls of Wall Street, Congress and Kst lobbying firms of the vermin that has put America on the brink of disaster.
I see the masses coming together, once they realize their plight, in groups that would need ten Super Bowl stadiums to seat. The roar of outrage would be deafening. America would mobilize to end the madness and send the Liberals, RHINOs and Socialists packing to the darkness of the cracks from where they came.
Uh, uh, uh. Harumpfh, snarful, kerpiffle. Sorry about that. Remember it was just a dream.
Is it possible Sarah would run 3rd party with Donald Trump? Just asking. Would they be a winning ticket? Just asking.

My dream is that, faced next fall with a choice of Obama or Obama Lite, Palin will somehow insert herself onto the ballots (write-in? 3rd party?) and 50-state landslide her red high heels into the People’s House for the next 8 years. Talk about recovery imminent and disaster prevented! (and leftwing-RINO heads exploding for reals)

@ DumbSmartplumber: GMTA! Srsly that Cabinet team was FTW! Who for SecDef?
@ Tuesday: I’ve maintained all along that this country has long been ripe for a strong 3rd party ticket, since most of the voters trust neither Dems nor Reps as they are indistinguisable. And things will NEVER change for the better in this country UNTIL we do something drastic like oust the progressively-communist Left and the cocktail party Repubs from power
The only way a a 3rd party ticket could work though is with another teflon, proven, telegenic and highly polished communicator a la Reagan for our side. Sarah could do it, and she has not only survived but thrived despite the media’s rectal probe
Who knows? A 3rd party run may be exactly why she dropped out of the Republican race; she’s smart enough to not seek the job of Captain on the Titanic. As has always been the case with Sarah’s success: ON HER TERMS! Love. This. Woman.

Correction: She said, “I’m not declaring a run for president AT THIS TIME.” That was early October.
With the candidates flaming out, not getting on ballots and talk of a brokered convention, the ‘Cuda doesn’t need to be in this clusterfark right now. She’s enjoying some of the last quiet times she’ll have with her family in Wasilla.
C4P says someone from Wasilla is checking in periodically to an Iowa site that’s pulling for folks to caucus for her. Hmmmm.
If he gets into the race as an Independent this could get REAL interesting REAL quick…love him or hate him (hate his rug though ), he’s probably the one person who has the bread and the power to succeed despite the Obama and his media lapdogs

I was disappointed in her saying “no” in running (2012). She’s one of the few candidates who could say “for family reasons I’m not running” and I would believe her (considering what her family has had to put up with for the past three years).
I hope she stays active in the process for 2012 electing more conservatives for office. If she wants to become a player for 2016/2020, learn what Reagan did after 1976-1980 or Nixon 1960-1968. Go forth and build an infrastructure.
People may not like Romney, but he’s been at this for about six years and has the chess pieces set up (look what happened in the VA GOP signature debacle…Romney has the boots on the ground/money to pull it off even though VA has some of the most restrictive POTUS Primary rules).
I wish you well Sarah. Stay in the fight.
