Sarah Palin is Owed a Huge Apology
Sarah Palin was exactly right about death panels as this caller attests. Tonight, a brain surgeon called into Mark Levin’s radio show and said that he had just recently visited Washington DC to review Obama’s new health care plan for advanced neurosurgical care for patients over 70 years old, issued by HHS. The plan, that included “ethics panels”, stated that if your were over 70 years old and on government supported healthcare and you visited an emergency room, you get “comfort care”:
Here’s an expert from the call:
Caller: Basically what the document stated was that if you were over 70 and you’d come into an emergency room and you’re on government supported health care, that you’d get “comfort care”.
Mark Levin: Wait a minute…what’s the source for this?
Caller: This is Obama’s new health care plan for advanced neurosurgical care.
Mark Levin: And who issued this? HHS?
Caller: Yes. And basically they don’t call them patients, they call them units. And instead of – they call it “ethics panels” or “ethics committees”, would get together and meet and decide where the money would go for hospitals, and basically for patients over 70 years of age, that advanced neurosurgical care was not generally indicated.
Mark Levin: So it’s generally going to be denied?

Cuppa Joe Biden and Hairy Reed both appear to need neurosurgery of some sort. Poor, poor Hairy will be out of luck and Cuppa Joe soon will be reaching his 70th. Wait, silly me. They will still have their exclusive and special health care system and will be exempt from the proletariat health “care” system the rest of us will endure.

The Democrats rammed ObamaCare through before it could be properly analyzed and subjected to scrutiny. With regard to those components of ObamaCare that did manage to see the public light of day prior to passage – the Democrats just lied about it. Why this is not sufficient cause to toss every Democrat who voted for this thing out on his or her ear is beyond me.

I’ve been saying this from the git-go. Your hospital already has an ethics panel. Now they have a financial qualifier to consider when weighing the merits of a given case. Not death panels but ethics boards.

Referring to people as “units” further advances the dehumanization of the populace making abortion, infanticide, euthanasia etc more “palatable” than the out and out murder those procedures are. 70YR. Old brother needs hip replaced. Because of obamacare he has to have 8 therapy sessions to determine if he gets it. His doc is furious that a man in horrific pain and clearly needs this done has to endure this to “prove” his eligibility. But it gets worse, even if he gets it the insurance limits you on therapy and because he will have had the 8 therapy sessions before surgery, then after when he actually needs therapy he will get virtually none! I guess obama and the demonrats have devised a plan for mass genocide of americans 70 and older. May God help us!
