“I am willing to give up some of my constitutional rights in order to be safer or more secure.”
When questioned on the purpose of directing fourth-graders to sign such a statement, the school district argued that the students participated in the activity of their own free will and that the lesson was designed to “create an awareness of the five rights contained in the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution” and help students “determine their opinions on which rights they value most and least.”

We’ve all heard how evil Uncle Sam rounded up the Japanese and placed them in “concentration camps” during WWII for their potential to spy on us. Have you ever heard about the other internment camps Uncle Sam ran for other nationalities and their American children?

Here’s a story which doesn’t quite make sense to me. A father posted a picture of himself holding his one year old and a bb gun and he’s being charged with child endangerment? I’d like to see this go to court, or maybe not.

The Greens in the world have convinced most of us that ANY radiation is deadly poison to be avoided at all costs. Does your dentist still dress you in a lead apron for your panoramic photos? Guess what, there’s a competing hypothesis called hormesis which postulates that a toxic substance at one dosage, may be beneficial at a lower dosage. Guess which occupation has the lowest overall rates of cancer? Airline crews. Why, all of the radiation they get from being so far above the Earth getting more of the Sun’s radiation all of the time. Check out Chernobyl today.
