Wounded Warrior Project Rejects Funds from Local Church

A Christian church and affiliated school in Florida held a fundraising drive to help the Wounded Warrior Project. Children in the school were excited about the task, but later were crushed when the funds were turned down, because the organization is “religious in nature.”

    Well, f*ck Wounded Warrior. This isn’t the first time I’ve heard about something like this.

    Well, this is interesting. WWP had no trouble collecting over $6MM from the crowd that showed up at the Restoring Honor rally in D.C. back in ’10. And it was religious as church.
