There was a woman in Mill Valley, CA that used to sue everyone for everything. For all I know, she’s still there. Once, she sued her neighbors because they were playing basketball, with their own hoop setup, and she said the bouncing of the ball caused her some kind of mental distress and they had to stop. She won.
I would have counter-sued and had someone from the president’s council on physical fitness to be a witness and explain that this witch (spelled with a capital B) was keeping my children from exercise that the gov’t says is good. But I would only sue for $1. Guaranteed win and she would lose.
