publications, La Repubblica and Panorama, have reported that a confidential report given to Pope Benedict, part of which refers to a network of homosexual clerics working within the Vatican, led to the pontiff’s decision to resign the papacy. Though Catholic journalists confirm the likely existence of the scandal, most disagree that Pope Benedict is retiring because of it.

    People who believe that the “gay lobby”—which does exist—caused the Pope to resign have no real understanding of Benedict XVI. The former Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger wasn’t nicknamed “God’s Rottweiler” for nothing.

    He left, as he himself said, because God called him to a totally dedicated life of prayer, intercession, and spiritual warfare.

    The pro homo, Catholic hating media is using the ‘Gay Lobby’ report (which Benedict commissioned) not to revile their lifestyle but rather to bash the Church into eventually pressuring it into acceptance of their abominations and in the short run to cast aspersions and drive more away.
