As soon as I heard that the woman who told the teacher she was there to pick up the girl and that the child had been “checked out” at the office, I wondered if the kidnapper had not been dressed in muslim garb, if the teacher would have been so careless. Or do you think the teacher was concerned about PC?

I’ll bet it didn’t even occur to the police to check to see if the man that got the reward had a girlfriend and to see if the abductee recognized the girlfriend. Scam — maybe?
