My dog, Jelica (short for Angelica of Rugrats fame) turned Sixteen years old on Dec 22 and is nearly blind as well as nearly deaf. I have become her seeing eye human. It enchants the heart to see such compassion in the animal world. I will volunteer that cats do have something to offer,….. companionship. If you’ve ever lived alone, you will understand.
