I like how immediate the comments are pertaining to allowing married men and women into the priesthood. What, would gays quit or become hetero? Aren’t there men married to women who are homosexual? And what about lesbians in the priesthood? Would two married homosexuals count toward cleaning out the rectory?

It seems illogical that homosexuals would flock to where their perversions are codified as abomination. In at least one synod or group of almost every Protestant denomination there are those that accept homosexual priests or pastors.

It’s national msm news when an unknown Catholic priest is handcuffed in Springfield, IL. It might make the Springfield local paper if it were a Baptist married minister with homosexual undertones. It probably wouldn’t have made the paper if it were a Springfield Episcopal priest who five years earlier was celebrated as it’s first gay minister.

I don’t understand it either, Maudie N Mandeville. These men must certainly know the rules going into their vocation.

Well. Best I can say is that this isn’t as disturbing as the congregation that voted to exclude children from their church so they could retain a preacher on the child sex offender list as their Pastor.
