Quentin isn’t taking the bait from a “journalist” with an obvious poltical agenda about screen violence leading to real-life violence. One of Tarantino’s rare conservative moments.

    This guys made his career by pushing the limits and being controversial. Now he’s stepped over THEIR line. He’s only a conservative when it helps him. I hope they hang him in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.

    Thumb up +2

    “This is a commercial for my movie!” Tarantino
    is in control of the interview from start to finish.
    He completely deflates that puppet reporter.

    YouTube has seen fit to disabled comments for the video, because they probably can’t stand the heated comments and overall support for Tarantino.

    To paraphrase an online conversation about Tarantino I had recently;

    Tarantino, is the embodiment of all that is wrong with Hollywood. First he barely has any directorial or writing talent. His characters are shallow, not even one dimensional. His films are the reflection of a culture of all style no substance just like Barack 0bama.

    If his characters could not use profanity he would be making silent movies. He fixates on certain actressess at times in his career, like Uma Thurman, that exhibit some quirkiness of his own.

    Too much Hollyweird inside baseball, self-referential, “we all love each other in this business” shtick. Every one of his movies from Hell. He and Larry Flint are fellow travelers sharing the same demons, and have about the same destructive input to American Culture. Hopefully the both will be beset by the type of characters they extol in their waning years.

    Thumb up +5
