How about self defense training, hand gun license and hand guns to the residents instead of waiting for the police tank to show up?

    Aside from wasting money, FEELING safe is all you’re going to get with this boondoggle. What a joke to be used to catch burglars. I’ll bet it’s a real laugher to the criminal element.

    Technically, it isn’t a “tank”, but rather an armored car. They want us to get use to the idea of armored vehicles patroling our nieghborhoods. Wait till some of the “boys in da hood” figure out how the make a homemade Panzerfaust.

    Personally, I feel pretty safe in my home or when I’m travelling. My front door is locked for your protection, not mine.
