Patty’s Gone – I’ll Be With You In Apple Blossom Time

My introduction to Patty and her sisters, Maxene and LaVerne, was through my first source of news, a Seattle-based clown with his own show — J.P. Patches.

The Andrews sisters lived in his magic room and launched into song whenever he opened the door to it. Later on they were joined by the Uga Chucka singers. But Patty was always my favorite. Most of the important people in the world are irreplaceable.

    A class act all the way. You know how talented they were by the best anyone can do today is impersonate them. Today’s female singers are pale imitations of the Andrews and Patty in particular.
