    Apparently, Pharaoh in Chief is paranoid as well as a narcissist. Didn’t want to take the risk of one of those right-wing “Corpse Men” taking him out.

    I did a quick Google search, hoping to pick up a Snopes review (yes, I know they’re liberal). Found a similar up-in-arms blog from the 2005 inaugural, so I guess at least we can’t blame 0bama directly for this one. Still stupid – every one of them took an oath to protect the Constitution, after all.

    While my first two sons are Marines, I advised #3 against it in late Winter of 2009.

    Not risking my son with someone who hates him and also has control over him.

    This also happened during Clinton’s presidency.

    My son was in the 3rd US Army Infantry Regiment. The one that does the Honor Guard for all ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery and guard the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers.

    During one of the Memorial Day wreath-laying ceremonies (don’t remember which one), the Clintons were more than their usual late arrival (it’s a pattern among demonRATs; they show little respect for others). They would not come down until the guard detail turned over their M14 magazines.

    Once the Sargent collected all the magazines, the Clinturds still wouldn’t come down. It seems they also wanted the bolts removed, ’cause the bolt, they were told, is that thingy that shoots the bullet. The Sargent had to explain that to remove the bolt required dismantling the gun.

    The ‘boltless’ M14′s have been in play since then.

    Molan Labe. My son, an ex GI, told me that. I could’t believe it. But I guess it’s true. So they now have hundreds of boltless M-14′s for parades for Democrats.

    He knows the Marines hate traitors.

    @Dadof3, I told my son and daughter the same thing about re-enlisting under 0bama. I don’t want them in harms way without a Commander In Chief.
