    Funny story,
I paint and I also enter some contest.
I won 3rd place for a pet portrait in watercolor, so after the competition and viewing was over I picked my painting up.
Not only do they have regular placing but they also have the Peoples Choice Award, voted on by visitors, the Best of Show, and Governors Award.
Imagine my surprise to see 2 ribbons.
When I ask “whats the other ribbon for” I was told it was a “participation trophy”.

Bwahahahahaha, I laughed my ass off, they just looked at me and said “everyone gets a ribbon for participating”
Then why judge them? Why not just give everyone the “Best of Show” or Governors Award”?

These “everyone is equal assholes are whats fuckin up society and our kids”

    Thumb up +3

Can we stop with the “My kid is student of the month at — school” bumper stickers?!

EVERYONE’S kid is student of the month! I can get a sticker made and my dogs, rose bushes, and wool coat could be students of the month, too. Gaah!

    Thumb up +2
