    24,000 signatures on the petition to make a gun free zone around the _resident. The threshold requiring a white house response is 25,000

    In a COMPLETELY unrelated news story:

    The white house has increased the required number of signatures to 100,000 before a response will be made.

    Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Are those pesky petitions getting to ya? Thin-skinned indeed.

    Oh now, the WH has already commented and said “the presidents kids shouldn’t be the topic of conversation”.

    But, but, but, other peoples kids are?

    What about the kids killed by felons with guns in Chicago, they didn’t and haven’t mattered for years?

    You’d think Barrys community organization would’ve used money to address this issue instead of siphoning it off like all these innercity scammers do.
    The only people who benefit are the organizers and their friends and families.

    Maybe his gun control directives should focus on this money is being wasted instead of being used for the god of the community…..or the kids.

    UPDATE: I Just took a look at the petition and there are 25,281 signatures. It is still under the old counting system so the White House is “obligated” to officially respond to it. Whether they will or not is another thing. But it’s nice to use their own mechanisms against them, regardless.
