Glad to see this but I was expecting to see a crystal or a 555 timer for the C-band jammer. The patent is kind of outdated. Simple though. It would be nice if they listed capacitor and resistor values. Coil too.
Needs an FCC disclaimer too –> not responsible if you land in the slammer for ten years for playing around with this design.

I wonder if you could modify a taser to operate in the higher band frequency. It’s a spark-gap device that you can find on the internet for about $20.

Get yourself and old Husky or Bulltaco with a Magneto in it. It’ll do the same thing.

Bad Brad, I have some fond memories of those dirt bikes. Never seen either in Arkansas. CZ was another one I haven’t seen in 25 years.
My brother in law raced an American Eagle which may have had a Husky engine back in the 70 with a club called the Claim Jumpers. He used to buy us beer at the races when we were kids.

Unruly, Back in the late 70′s early eighties I used to race Moto X. One of the practice tracks we would go to was parked next to a Model Plane place where these guys would come out and fly their little radio control planes. They used to love to buzz us while were out there on the track. If you were lucky some guy would show up with an old Maico or the bikes we’ve mentioned with a Mag on it. As soon as they’d fire one of those things up, it was raining little plastic planes on our track. I can say with great certainty none of those planes we retrieved in one piece.

Bad Brad, wow that is cool. I remember how they would screw up the tv when somebody rode one down the street.
My favorite dirt bike was a little Hodaka Ace 100 or 125. Sucker would climb a hill now, but too low geared for anything else. I used to roam around the Santa Monica mountains on it when I was a kid.

Was that a Hodaka? I think I had a friend who had one with a bat on the tank.

I believe it was. Those were good times. You need rocks in your head to race that sport now.

Yeah, that’s for sure, they do some crazy shit that I would never attempt. I was just looking at Hodaka pics and that was a rat not a bat that my friend had on his bike. Don’t know why I even call him a friend — he never did let me ride the damn thing. lol

Unruly, My oldest boys faster the hell on those tracks. I keep telling him, “Your perfect for this sport, perfect balance, no brains, and no fear.” I finally had to lay down the law and tell him quit riding or I’m writing your ass out of my will. Even though he’s 24, it’s just a matter of time.
