    Most of Europe has one hell of a problem on their hands because nobody is sure how long this has been going on, (could be years) and there are drugs meant only for horses that are harmful to humans that may well have been deliberately put into the food chain. Hospitals, schools and other institutions all over Europe were using lots of what is called “mince” (we call it “ground beef” for a reason…) to make all kinds of prepared foods from meatballs to hamburger patties.

    This is why we have strict food inspection standards over here…

    I remember the hub-bub back in 1976 when Purina recieved a shipment of kangaroo meat. And that was only for the pets.
