I think I’ll be checking when a state that permits private sales (for now) decides this is a good idea. Because planning ahead is a good thing.

Hilarious! Freedom!!
Just remember that the “Gun Show Loophole” is not a loophole. It is private sales.
The only way private sales ends is with registration of all guns. If they insist on background checks for even private sales then all guns have to be put in the system at some point so they know if you got it “legally”.
Don’t let that camel’s nose under the tent.

So, when the police ran out of gift cards the people left the line and sold their guns to the private purchasers? FABULOUS!

Government tyranny is a loophole that needs to be closed. Patriots never surrender their arms, cash or not.

Funny you should mention that, Unruly. After my son returned from Afghanistan last fall, he began enhancing his collection. I know someone who talked about how much money could be made by selling some of that treasure. The response from both of us was an ‘excuse me, but NO’. That someone is a raving lib, of course.

Yeah, and when the private buyers wouldn’t give a wooden nickle for a pos broken weapon, the government gave them real money(our money) for the worthless crap so they could go buy a real working weapon…
Golly gee willakers!!! libs are just brilliant!!!

RosalindJ, my son got back from Afghanistan around that same time.
Guns are a good investment — even more so if they are made illegal.

Free enterprise! Find a need and fill it! America!
This is what we’re all about. Seeing a bad (or in this case, stupid) situation and making it better by making it a win-win proposition. I’m waiting for the ‘tard TV hosts to start calling these geniuses 21st century robber barons on the belief they were taking advantage of the little people. But the gov’t can extract money from you and that’s a good thing.

Ha ha. The government already extracted money from us that provided the funds for the buy-back. Me? I prefer supporting small business.
