Do not discount the fact that the mental illness itself could have been the causative factor in all the aforementioned killings. And just because an individual is prescribed meds, does not mean they were taking it appropriately or at all, and were keeping their clinic appts, so a relatively benign side effect such as anxiety does not escalate to a more severe symptoms. You have found a correlation between psych meds and homicides, however, as all researchers know, correlation does not equal causation. Mary Anne Hughes MSN NP/CNS-BC
