I read the sample – very intriguing – I’m getting a copy of the book.

I thought it was outstanding. Two TEA Party friends said they couldn’t put it down. Meanwhile, when it was suggested for a “regular” bookclub, the D’Oprah/Dancing With the Stars crew said, “Ewwww. Why would we want to read that?!”
I weep for my country.
BTW, the author also has a blog.

This is another book that should be required reading on any homeschoolers reading list.

An interesting blog post about why he wrote the novel “An Act of Self-Defense”
http://ernelewis.com/blog/2011/12/violence-in-defense-of-liberty/
To be clear, I do not support the violence found in the novel. We must find a non-violent alternative to regain our lost liberty. But if we fail, violence in defense of our liberty will be required and it will be morally justified.
…Today, violence against our government would accelerate our loss of liberty…..they will never pass up a chance to grow their power at the expense of our liberty.
I wrote the novel to begin a conversation. It is not enough to demand that Congress respect the Constitution. They don’t and they won’t. It is useless to insist Congress shrink government. They haven’t and they never will….
What is our plan?
