    If nothing else the author points of the difficulties of trying to engage these people in a thoughtful discussion. Think of it as trying to convert someone to a different religion. The challenges are about the same, if not the substance.

    Great article and website. Picked up some tips that I can use when dealing with psycho gun-grabbers. Good conversation tools if you must deal with the offspring of hippies.

    Excellent article. She explains the many different reasons people are anti-gun: gun phobic, projecting their own rage onto others, denial, etc.

    One particular note was about the people who truly have no problems with guns or gun owners, but for personal greed; persist in trying to disarm the population:

    “It does not apply to the anti–gun ideologue. Fanatics like Charles Schumer know the facts about firearms, and advocate victim disarmament consciously and willfully in order to gain political power.”
