    Now I get why the like the muslims so much. They just can’t come around to taxing themselves for only existing, but under Sharia they will HAVE to pay that tax for not being muslim.

    Forced to pay for being alive. Every lib’s wet dream even if it’s them.

    DUH! What part of “If I can find a way to avoid a tax, I will.” don’t you understand? Why do you think wine is usually 11-12% alcohol by volume? Because at 12.5%, the tax rate goes up! The gov’t thinks they’re going to collect a lot of money. All they’re going to do is to increase the sales of cheaper bikes and decrease the sales of more expensive bikes. Don’t worry. The fine will be dropped to $250 bikes in about 6 months. In a few years, the fine will be levied against all bikes.

    I wrote about a similar topic here. The gov’t in WA is instituting a $100 a year tax on electric vehicles because they don’t buy gas and therefore don’t pay those taxes for road maintenance. I give it 5 years and every driver in WA will be paying a road maintenance fee.
