Isn’t Caruso being intolerant of a person’s religious views on marriage? Why is a secular view on marriage any more “enlightened” and the correct opinion?

In the Hip Hop DJ post that we posted earlier, where the Deejays were incredulous that people could hold the view that gay sex is not worthy of being elevated to the status of a union before God, one guy said a person sounded like a caveman with prehistoric views. Actually, I don’t find that characterization at all insulting. What would be the instincts of the caveman if Grok observed Grunk buttsexing Goont? I guess the most “enlightened” response would be to just leave them to their own devices and not club them to death. Why does Grok have to be forced into clasping hands with Grunt and Goont and gleefully play ring-around-the-rosey with them?

That’s what the left is doing. It is not enough to simply tolerate unconventionality as changes take place in society. You must not utter a disparaging word, a disapproving glance, nor any suspicious eye contact. If you’re to offer any opinion at all it will be a gleeful session of ring-around-the-rosey. The left has spoken!

Sir Michael Caine was accidentally locked in his dressing room attic while taking a nap on the set of his new film, it was reported.

The Italian Job actor, 79, found himself trapped after waking up to find the film crew had left for the day and locked the door, believing he was in his trailer.

Sir Michael was only freed the following morning when a carpenter came to collect his tools from the disused theatre in New Orleans in the US.

He had been unable to call for help because his mobile phone was in his trailer, and he was left in darkness in the attic room, a source told theDaily Mirror.

“It had been a long day of filming and Michael decided to slip upstairs to a makeshift dressing area and catch 40 winks,” an insider said.

“Unfortunately he was asleep for some time and failed to hear directors calling a wrap.”

Wait, let me clarify that. The real TEA Party did score a victory. The real TEA Party is the grassroots efforts of people like you and I who are taxed enough already. We don’t have an official coalition. Sarah Palin seems to be our de facto spokesperson in that we generally agree with her endorsements.

Palin’s endorsement was at odds with the country’s largest TEA Party organization, the TEA Party Express. Why is it being under-reported that the TEA Party Express endorsed Bruning? I’m seeing a lot of headlines and murmuring that this was a clear indication that the TEA Party is very much alive and kicking. If that’s the case, is the TEA Party Express a bus on the wrong road? Is this just an anomaly, where the TPX and Sarah Palin went in different directions on an “unclear choice”?

If Bruning is an establishment bluish Republican, why did TPE endorse him?

I’m just asking questions.

Nebraska state Senator Deb Fischer rocketed out of nowhere to win the GOP senate primary on Tuesday, sending shockwaves across the political world from Nebraska to Washington, D.C.

The Republican establishment spent nearly $3 million to support state attorney general Jon Bruning. The Washington conservative establishment spent nearly $3 million to prop up their candidate, Don Stenberg, who never got traction despite all of his endorsements. But it took just 135 words from former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to propel Fischer to the head of the pack and give her the momentum, buzz, and name identification to capitalize on some of the groundwork she had diligently laid.

The message was clear: the conservative grassroots are fed up and candidates favored by both the Republican and the Washington conservative establishment are not safe.

When my wife was a liberal, she complained that libertarian reasoning is coldhearted. Since markets produce winners and losers — and many losers did nothing wrong — market competition is cruel. It must seem so. President Obama used the word “fair” in his last State of the Union address nine times.

We are imprinted to prefer a world that is “fair.” Our close relatives the chimpanzees freak out when one chimp gets more than his fair share, so zookeepers are careful about food portions. Chimps are hardwired to get angry when they think they’ve been cheated — and so are we.

Filmmaker Michael Moore took this notion about fairness to its intuitive conclusion during an interview with Laura Flanders of GRITtv, saying of rich people’s fortunes: “That’s not theirs! That’s a national resource! That’s ours!” As is typical, Moore was confused or disingenuous. In our corporatist economy, some fortunes are indeed made illegitimately though political means. The privileges that produce those fortunes should be abolished. But contrary to Moore, incomes are not “national resources.” If he’s concerned with illegitimate fortunes, he should favor freeing markets.

Fairness is related to justice, the recognition of people’s rights to their own lives.

A free market will create big differences in wealth. That wealth disparity is simply a byproduct of freedom — vastly diverse individuals competing to serve consumers will arrive at vastly diverse outcomes.

That disparity is not unfair — if it results from free exchange.

The free market (which, sadly, America doesn’t have) is fair. It also produces better outcomes. Even “losers” do pretty well.

Three things are apparent from President Obama’s annual financial disclosure statement, released today:

He is a wealthy man, with assets of as much as $10 million.

He has a hefty stake in JPMorgan Chase, the megabank that just made a bad $2 billion bet. Obama has an account worth between $500,000 and $1 million.

Despite the nation’s $15.6 trillion debt, he is a believer in government paper. More than half of his assets are in Treasury bills and notes.

The disclosure statement lists assets and liabilities in dollar ranges, so pinpointing the president’s net worth is difficult. His assets appear to tally between $2.6 million and $9.9 million. He holds a mortgage on his Chicago home of $500,000 to $1 million.

Chris Matthews Verified As Retard On Jeopardy!

CULVER CITY, California (BHN) – After often mocking Sarah Palin by implying she would fail at the TV game show Jeopardy!, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews appeared on the program himself, with disastrous result.

Matthews finished a distant third to former White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs and CNN’s Lizzie O’Leary, two individuals not known for their intellect.

Not only did Matthews fail to answer even easy questions, the self-professed intellect was caught by the camera several times picking his nose. Later, Alex Trebek was overheard saying the episode “was like Jeopardy! meets the Special Olympics.”

My comments: Finally, public validation for something millions of us have presumed for years.

According to just released disclosure forms, President Barack Obama has between $500,000-1,000,000 in assets in a JP Morgan Chase account. The full title of the account, as it’s written on the disclosures, is “JPMorgan Chase Private Client Asset Mgmt Checking Account.” It is a jointly held account, presumably with First Lady Michelle Obama.

Additionally, according to the disclosure forms, President Obama has between $1,001-$15,000 in a JP Morgan Chase checking account.

Disclosures are made in estimated numbers; precise dollar amounts need not be revealed.

These assets perhaps help explain President Obama’s recent praise of the bank. “JPMorgan is one of the best-managed banks there is. Jamie Dimon, the head of it, is one of the smartest bankers we got and they still lost $2 billion and counting,” President Obama said on the View yesterday.

15-year-old schoolgirl died after ‘doctor mistook tuberculosis for lovesickness’

Alina Sarag was seen by more than five doctors at four different hospitals but medics failed to detect the curable disease.

Her distraught parents even called her GP more than 50 times about their daughter’s ailing condition over a four-and-a-half month period before her death on January 6 last year.

An inquest heard that her GP, Dr Sharad Shripadrao Pandit, accused her parents of “mollycoddling” her.

Just a week ago the establishment media was aflutter with news that a CIA double-agent had thwarted a new type of underwear bomb attack targeting U.S. flights in a plot devised by al-Qaeda of the Arabian Peninsula.

But as the week progressed, a developing bombshell story got buried under President Obama’s gay marriage announcement. Not only is the supposed CIA asset not a CIA asset at all, but the entire operation was exposed prematurely and the double-agent’s life was immediately threatened by an intelligence leak that very well may have come out of the White House for political gain.

As the story broke, the establishment media was more than happy to attribute the intelligence coup to the CIA and the Obama administration, describing the mole as a “CIA informant.”

It turns out that wasn’t true. The double-agent hadn’t been recruited and placed by the CIA, but by British intelligence, who also managed the operation. In fact, the Americans had only recently been made aware of the joint British-Saudi effort.

A handful of Republicans are pursuing the biggest scandal in American history, but guess what: House Speaker Boehner isn’t one of them, and that puts him on par with Democrats like Jim Costa, who think “Issa and Holder should sit down and work it out.”

West Virginia Democrat Nick Rahall wants Holder to turn over the subpoenaed documents but is “not ready to go as far as contempt yet, no. Not yet.”

Rep. Dan Burton of Indiana explained why he thinks Boehner, along with Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) and Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), are going along to get along.

With the other issues, the economy and everything else, I think they would like to focus on that. I don’t think they’re opposed to going ahead with the contempt citation; it’s just that if we can get the Justice Department to move without having to move it, they would probably prefer that.

Americans would probably “prefer” that career politicians grow a spine and stand up to one of the most corrupt attorneys general in recent history and hold everyone responsible for the murders of innocent people accountable.  Not gonna happen, according to an insider.
